    I bought mine QV on 13/03/2019, and with the time I become more and more addicted to her, such a brilliant package. Faultless performance hitherto, just under 17k miles. There is no other car like this one, absolute marvel, very rapid yet civilised, great daily driver, does easily 30mpg, can go down to 19 mpg if driven up to 175, can go even further. Went skiing with her, no ice and snow can be a problem when fitted with Pirelli Winter tyres. Absolute pleasure and joy driving and owning this beautiful driving tool.

      @viktorserafimov6353 Před 3 lety +3

      Currently just under 22k no single issue yet. This is hitherto the most reliable let alone the best car I owed. The ride is firm yet very comfortable, let's compare it with the Golf R estate 2016 my previous car, very similar albeit the driving experience is far better. I never thought of another car since I bought this one.

    Great video!
    Ive just bought a 19 plate, same spec/options as this one. I was looking at a Cayenne / Macan GTS but fell in love with the Quad. I have 3 young kids so had to sell my GTR when number 3 came along so needed the utility. This comfortably accommodates the family and its rapid! An absolute beast of a car, in Race its a hooligan!
    MPG is similar to my GTR, average 21/22, pretty much in Race mode all the time. I got 30mpg in Advanced mode on the mway when I picked it up. Dealer/Franchise experience very different to BMW/Merc but I’m not fussed about posh coffees or brand snobbery. If you are a car person and love driving cars, this is the one to go for.

    • @Thisismyhandle218
      @Thisismyhandle218 Před 4 lety +4

      Very much in the same boat! I have kid number 2 on the way, my RS5 needs to go (gutted...) been looking at the Macan GTS but my heart is telling me to go see/test one of these.

    • @jeffblakemore4053
      @jeffblakemore4053 Před 4 lety +4

      The Macan in reality was too small. Boot floor space is good but you lose a lot from the sloping boot, and I just couldn’t track down a Cayenne GTS with the right age/milage. After watching loads of vlogs/reviews, I managed to get a great deal on Quad with the right options. The Porsches just arent fast enough without a map imo. The Quad is very quick, loads of features and with the right options is a very nice cabin. Mine has the two tone interior too, which adds another element. The carbon buckets and steering wheel are really nice, pan sun roof is a must have too.

      That would be difficult to say the least.
      The ones who watch these videos, are a petrolhead minority. People who actually like and enjoy driving cars.
      But most people just want a reliable car, one that maybe they can show as a symbol of success in life.
      And that fits the German car profile (in their head). German cars are not reliable anymore and people dont't stand out at all in one, because they end up getting what everybody else gets these days.
      It's a funny world.

    Ciao. I’ve clocked 30k km with my 2018 Stelvio QV. Absolutely love it, so does my family. There are two tiny but very annoying issues: the fuel tank is a joke. 60 liters... that’s good for 300 to 400km max. And the hill holder does not work with the start/stop auto system: a red light on a hill becomes an interesting challenge. But other than that, an exceptionally cool car. Fast, reliable, comfortable, I absolutely adore ir. Thanks for the review!

    • @deramon1000

    Europe always makes me laugh XD Its not your guy's fault but... when you said the Stelvio is a "big" car I had to smirk a little. I live in Northern Canada. The land of giant lifted Ford F-350 Super Duty Duallies. I'm think of buying one of these but am concerned itll be a little small to handle the winter. To us this is a small to midsize suv. It certainly wouldn't be called big by any metric. I just find it so entertaining, the differences in size perspective from Europe to North America.

    I'm not an SUV/Activity Vehicle fan by any stretch of the imagination, in fact there's times where I downright despise their drivers on the road.
    Being raised in an Alfa/Fiat family, I naturally loved the Giulia QV instantly.
    Didn't think too much about the Stelvio, I didn't dislike it, just didn't care for it, until...
    Bumped into a friend I hadn't seen for years, late last year as I parked at the mall.
    Walked as we spoke towards his car with his cart full of groceries.
    Then we get to a RED Stelvio QV and he gets his remote out his pocket.
    WOW! Love at first sight... Even if I may be a little biased
    Now my dream garage has to have one, parked right next to the RED Giulia QV...
    😎👍🏼

    Staff great reveille. I have been fortunate to own a Stelvio Quad for two years. It has been faultless. It goes everywhere in race mode. Never owned a car that is so practical and sooooo fast. Nice to race M3s C63s and Porsche Macan Turbo S and leave them for dead. Also when you get the plebs on the motorway who try to stop you getting out of the middle lane by speeding up to stop you getting into the outside lane. It’s so nice to open the taps and leave them wondering what the hell that was leaving them for dead. BRILLIANT CAR! Anyone who likes driving try one you will not be disappointed. There are minor niggles low speed cornering tyres jump when cold less than 5mph Infotainment system isn’t that good fuel consumption can be low when pushing hard. The seat belt issue can be resolved by moving the retaining buckle up so that the male part of the belt is lifted high above the passenger seat so that it swings free. Other than that it’s absolutely BRILLIANT what a car!!!

    Looking for a crazy fun performance car that you call tell your wife you bought as a grocery wagon? This QF Stelvio SUV is the used car value of Super Performance SUV. Period. Sounds like a Lambo? Yes, Yes. Feels like a cheap interior? Yup, but amazing as a buy for 55k used perf SUV. Not a 150k new SUV monster you cant buy used for under 100k. Just get an Ext Warranty and Stick to Apple Carplay. Giggle all the way home and prepare for lots of friendly questions....

    Thumbs Up for the video, but these Alfas look cheap on video and in real life, they look just like they do in these videos.
