Man IMG are recruited kids. Kids that have parents with money. How about giving some respect to a program to where the kids don't have much but give they all on the field. The state of Louisiana gets no credit but have plenty of talent, nfl talent & hall of famers.
IMG isn't a high school. Its a sports academy with a paid to play football program but they can offer anyone a spot (i.e. recruiting that public schools cant do). They don't have a different vibe. They just recruit.
IMG doesn't have a community or a vibe. Saw them play and it was like a semi professional team made up from many states and Canada. 4 players deep at each position. What real school has that? Totally not fair and that's why they have to travel to play.

Coming from a high school football referee, normally we don’t try to pay attention to details on the team intros, unless every school that you’ve called this year uses the same damn intro. Every game I have called this year has use Metallica‘s enter Sandman. Last week I had a kid complain to me, his coaches, and his teammates that the other team used their intro song. A couple things I should point out here, one this team is 1-6 on the year and got beat 34-7 that night. And two, the schools didn’t copy each other, they copied Virginia Tech. They are the only school that can perfect that song to an intro.
The one with the tiger cage, that Oscar smith high school in Chesapeake Virginia, there one of the best teams acually in the state and are probably high on the country’s best… their insane
My high school had a badass intro before we played in the state championship game like ten years ago where the star player carried out a sledgehammer and the band played carmina burana. I’m surprised that didn’t make the cut.

My schools entrance is so cool!!! They do the purge sound from standing behind a sign then the purge sound turns into music and when the beat drops they come running thro the sign with the cheerleaders doing flips and all sorts of stuff it's so cool!!! The light flicker and all that it's really sick!! They hold each other back beforehand and are dancing and jumping to the beat and then run out it's really a show!!!
Sunday football is cool.. college football Saturday football is cool.. Monday night football is cool, Thursday night football is cool..but nothing compares to FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. Nothing is as pure as representing your neighborhood
I know homie. My fam is head coach. Racey McMath played for them, in the NFL now. His Lil brother just caught the winning touchdown against Warren Easton another good program out here.
I'm just happy that the coaches allow them to have this much fun and have great memories forever. I remember my 9th and 10th grade year on varsity we had the lamest coach eve,r we couldn't wear tape around our shoes which we called "booting up" and we also could not wear what you call "yoga pants" under our football pants he called all of that showboating and didn't like it. On top of that if we made a sack or a great play we couldn't celebrate, of course we allow ed to give each other high-five pets on the pads and helmets things of that nature but we couldn't point at the crowd, do our hands in the air and celebrate in that type of fashion. When I think about it it took a whole lot of fun out of the game.

My old high school team entrances were pretty tame; I only played until near end of sophomore season due to knee injury which sucked because I felt I was decent enough but ah that’s life. Our coaches would want us to do a tear away sign after halftime, which didn’t make any sense 🤷♂️
We did the purge sirens with the stadium lights out at our high school and when it says weapons of class 4 our 4 star recruit hyped up the crowd and they ran out on the siren
My team had 22 guys…. Most of us played all 3 teams and coaches asked why we were tired by q3 butch we all played a full game by the end of the 1st lmao
What my school does is the cheerleaders and drum line march the team from the locker room out to the field and then the cheerleaders & drumline get set on the field & they play “welcome to the jungle” as the team enters - while the school’s student section jumps around after it says the words “jump”
Fort Dorchester in north Charleston sc should be on here. They have the police escort to the school with the rocking bus and smoke. They enter from under the stands
