It's strange that a Indian Army Major General needs a journalist to explain about Islamic terrorism in J & K.
He is a war correspondent and has been reporting of defence matters for last 30 years. Nothing wrong in inviting such accomplished people.

Multiple terrorist attacks on Reasi, Kathua etc Jammu regions is a dangerous and sad incidence resulting from Intelligence failure. Ever since Pulwama attack on Indian armed force convoy hundreds of Pakistani terrorist attacks have happened in Kashmir valley and lower Pir Panjal and Jammu Kathua areas. The NSA Doval has failed miserably. Doval should be sacked and kicked out. A retired army general, particularly from 9 Para SF who have operated in Kashmir and has war experience should be made as NSA. Sack Doval and Save Kashmir.
Do not blabber. Without knowing the truth in depth, do not jump to conclusion. It is very difficult to erect the fence the entire border. It had been free of terrorism. Now, our Doval ji will never leave it
