She has dozens of acclaimed performances, won french oscar in 2014, casual audiences don’t notice it because they only watch blockbusters sadly, but of course critics been praising her talent since long time ago. Spencer will help audience to catch up hopefully
listen i hate twilight too but the point jimmy made in bringing it up is that she had a lot of pressure on her brining a popular character to life. he didnt just bring it up for shits and giggles.
Jimmy has interviewed her before. They seem very friendly with each other, and I felt like he brought it up to acknowledge it instead of making fun of it. Everything I watch with Kristen, she never talks about Twilight. I'm pretty sure he discussed this with her because he wanted to give her kudos for it. She didn't seem taken aback or awkward about it because she knew he was a friend and not a bully.
Honestly as a Twilight fan I did think she did well with Bella lol. I don't even care. The characters themselves were so ridiculous in the book and then on top of that the film itself made them even more over the top and that's basically why I love the film. It's so cheesy and corny but there's a certain charm to movies that don't try to take themselves seriously at ALL.

Twilight is definitely in my roster along with Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Beautiful Creatures, etc. I don't care if people think it's a stupid movie/book. I particularly liked it because of how absurd, stupid, corny, cheesy it was.

that diana clip gave me chills. love kristen sm, even as a gay teen during her twilight years, I was obsessed with those awful books & always thought she didn't deserve even an ounce of the hate she got for those films. it should've been the source material that was fixed during the screenwriting phases of production & not her. she portrayed bella EXACTLY how the novels portrayed her, a young depressed teen moving to a town of complete isolation. i feel like she's gonna nail this role though. so happy to see her doing well for herself & congrats on the new fiancé!!

I was out of town with my family at my aunt & uncle's house with a house full of people & the second that the breaking news coverage came onto the TV, the whole house became silent as we all watched intently.
