Check with hotel in case they have a car service and have them prepare or uber is cool. Dont bring US dollars, use the airport atm. Ask for loose cash. Dont carry too much $. Dont bring flashy stuff.
I would have an international phone plan and just use the app, but use it before you get there. I would also recommend paying extra for the plan and not the "free" internet most providers give you because it sucks.
