New Brake Shoe & Drum Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABDS00347
Brake shoes wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake drums may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace shoes and drums at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes. This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ shoes and drums on your 1988-2002 GMC K1500.

Legitimately came in clutch, gotta pay attention to this mans technique thats the real key
Best video for this job. Couldn't have done it without it.
Good job! Camera work was hit and miss at first ... then improved through the video to excellent. Very helpful tutorial ...thanks!
Taking the retainer springs off and back on sure is easier with the proper tool! I learned from experience.
Great job great video Excellent directions thank you so much
How did the back plates get so clean? Special cleaning or replacement? Getting ready to change out my 1995 K1500 rear brakes as I am not sure they have every been replaced and this video is very helpful. Thanks! Also it would be good to note these are the 10 inch rear brakes in the video as the 11.25 rear brakes are slightly different.
pretty cool video. thanks man.
Thank you for the great video! Very helpful and informative
Great instructional video. Everything is clear to see and thoroughly explained.
Can you please tell me if these were 10" or 11" brakes.
Great work!! 👌
Im so glad i found this video this was a big help.
+erichoward09 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Thank you❤

I'm guessing you blead the brakes because you replaced the backplate? Cause I don't see a reason if it was just a brake pad/arm replacement.
do you guys have the parking brake lever that the parking brake attaches too available?
I use a piece of small clear hose on the bleeder fitting going into a bottle to capture the fluid while bleeding brakes. Getting brake fluid all over sucks
+Chris V Thanks for the tip! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ

+Cat Dakman Thanks for the feedback!
E break spring will not go back for me to get it on just pliers are not cutting it what can I do???
Do you know that there’s spring removal tool for all that stuff
+Leif Erickson Thanks for the feedback! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Do you know I saved $35 for using pliers instead of the removal tool for all that stuff
Mine has 5 springs and looks different
Why skip when you put the new assembly on
What’s that copper spray
He literally said it was copper anti seize
My boy had the ling long tires 😮😂😂😂😂
Should have sprayed it down with brake cleaner before working on it. Poisonous brake dust.. Safety First.?
He's wearing gloves
I agree with a new video. You performed quite a few operations that were hidden behind other parts. A REAL PRO would have shot the scene AGAIN from the back side where things weren't hidden, then continued..... Otherwise, all good. This had me scared, now I feel a bit better if I could do them. I don't know what my size is - 10 or 11.5.....
Can you guys do a better job of filming and showing things and explaining them as you go. It was very vague video, moved way too fast
You forgot to flip this
+Chris Crowley Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Got them ling longs
Every time I pause I have to watch two ads. Pissing me off
Helpful hint, some of us use earbuds, so, when you blast your air tools, I yank my earbuds out. End of your video for me.

Same here, a little volume leveling would be helpful.
