- I set out to do some early morning bank fishing. Little did I know that the Chatterbait would be the hot lure for the day. The chatterbait is an easy lure for beginners to use. There are no special ways that you need to work the bait. Cast and retrieve is all I did to catch a number of good fish. Thanks for watching feeshin friends!

Fully finished binge watching your entire video library over the last couple months. You did one video about fishing pop-r's motivated me to try it got my first two topwater freesh. Also, after watching your old tackle box video I saw I had one of those heddon spit n image bill dance baits in citrus shad that I bought when i was maybe 15 and was too nervous about losing it to actually fish with it....got another two topwater feesh a few days ago. Had some killer bass on Chatterbaits during the last few years. Now I use 2 kinds of trailers. One is the Ragetail swimbait in white lightening for spring time then one like what you are throwing. Which is a Chatterbait Elite or custom. But I use a green pumpkin Zoom fat Ablert grub. I do dress my baits with KVD shad formula chapstick style attractant or BANG in crawfish formula. They both are awesome. They hide the human smell of touching the bait. It works!!!! Hey, love the video. I use a ton of ZMan baits. Love everything they make. Keep up the great work 👍
Yeah, grubs seem to get forgot about. I don't use scent anymore. I used to use it all thr time. I should start again to see if I can get a few more bites!

Hey Debo I gingerly went fishing today. First time in over a month. Caught 4 smallmouth in Lake Champlain from a boat dock. The much cooler thing was that I saw 2 monster lake trout (over 30 inches each) cruising the shallow water right by me searching for spawning habitat in the rocks! Never seen adult lake trout before.

I wasn't impressed when I first got it from my buddy. After using it for some time, I really like it!
@@DEBOSFishing I have been fishing it with the mag brakes almost all the way on, and the spool tension just tight enough to take the slack out. It cast a mile like that but its really on the edge of blowing up. Thanks for the videos

The chatterbait strikes again, my all-time favorite bait. You guys killed them again Debo. Ever had a chance to fish the Mississippi River? I fished an FLW event at Davenport in the late 90's as a co-angler and saw tons of good looking backwater.
Watched this video today after landing 6-7 LMB on a gill colored Chatterbait with a green pumkin black flack Zako, in a public pond. Only my second year Bass fishing and Chatterbaits are my go to for reaction bites if top water isnt happening.

It was still a great day fishing. Sure beat the heck out of sitting home eating Doritos!
This wasn't a twist. It was a small loop that caught. Basically a tiny backlash that got tight. I had to pick it out with a toothpick but it was one tiny loop that caused the issue. I just upped my brake one click and it was fine. Thanks for watching man and agreed, beats sitting at home on the couch eating Doritos 🤣🤣🤣

Great video I'm liking the fishing with your buddies style of video keep them coming! Don't know if you've done a video like this already, but i was thinking about a tips on getting fish to bite in unknown waters, and maybe lures for smallies that differ from largemouth? (thats what was in the lake i got skunked on all weekend). Awesome video as always, and tight lines my friend looking forward to the next video!
Thanks a lot for watching man! I love getting the chance to fish with folks. I honestly don't get to fish for smallies a lot. Swimbaits, tubes, and small walking bait/popper. Try a couple smaller cranks or a drop shot as well!
Just had a chance to use my s.k chatterbait, oh Lord it was fun! tried it out on the full moon 🌕 it straight killed them almost every other cast I was reeling in a fish probably 20 in 3 hours, It was amazing! first time night fishing, and first time using a chatterbait. Confidence booster there. Thanks to you I bought my first chatterbait to try, and it's now a favorite, and I'll be buying more of them. 👍👊 Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us it's so helpful.

Are you throwing that chatter bait on straight braid ? If so is it true that fish can’t see black braid ?
That G Loomis rod tho. I paired my Lew's tourny with it and holy crap it's by far the most sensitive rod I've ever had.
It's a bit heavy of a rod but does seem quite sensitive. It's hard to tell because braid makes a HUGE difference in sensitivity. Thanks for watching man 👊
@@DEBOSFishing I had one in Medium X-Fast that I really liked for small swimbaits and also for ned rigs and smaller single hook stuff. Friend stepped on it and broke the tip off this year, but I definitely felt like it was a hefty rod. For 30 bucks less, I really REALLY like the Dobyns Sierra line. Super light for the price and good sensitivity. I have it in 7' MH fast and 7'3 heavy fast. They seem slower in action than their rating though. I'd call it moderate-fast. Love the vids dude.

I do have some spicy beavers. I like them. I only got white so tried it on a swim jig. We did throw cranks and only caught one fish. The chatter did the job for me. Yeah, I'm always down to talk feeshin tips. I need more spots to throw cranks.
