    Cloud Recovery is not available for my device and my device windows 11 is very buggy and pretty much unusable as it has issues with updates and i have tried every fix related to updates online including DSIM,SFC and installing Net Framework 3.5 manually (Came back with another error code which was said to be fixed by DSIM,SFC but those didn't fixed my problem). My problem still exists so does installing orginal non custom Microsoft Windows 11 voids my warranty?

      The HP Cloud Recovery tool allows you to make recovery Media which you can then use to boot your PC and do a factory reset.
      IT does the same thing as the HP Recovery Media, but like that, it expects to find a target drive much the same size as the original HDD. IF you try to use it on a smaller SSD, it is liable NOT to work because when it goes to recreate the original partitions, it may discover that it does not have enough space to do that.

      +Md Saqlain Saeed Prepare your computer for system recovery before you download and install the HP Cloud Recovery Tool.
      Back up your personal files. Go to HP PCs - Backing Up Your Files (Windows 10, 8) or HP PCs - Backing Up Your Files (Windows 7) for more information.
      Set aside 1 to 4 hours for the recovery process. The recovery time varies depending on the network and USB drive.
      Make sure you have a computer with an active Internet connection. For best results, an Ethernet connection is recommended.
      Make sure to use an AC power connection to the computer during the process. DO NOT disconnect from the Internet or AC power during the process to avoid recovery failure.
      Make sure you have a blank USB drive with a minimum of 32 GB.
      Make sure your computer has a minimum of 20 GB free disk space on the Windows partition.

    What is the window 10 recovery file size ?

    • @HPSupport
      @HPSupport  Před 3 lety

      +Sujon Kumar Creating a basic recovery drive requires a USB drive that is at least 512MB in size. For a recovery drive that includes Windows system files, you'll need a larger USB drive; for a 64-bit copy of Windows 10, the drive should be at least 16GB in size.
