So how did you get all the sand out of your hood? I did the same thing for a 68 Ford and it is a nightmare getting all the sand out. Debating getting a new hood because of it.
I flipped it over and over multiple times and used a blower end with a sort of a wand on the end of that i was able to get between the panels a little bit. Still wasn’t perfect. But after primer. Multiple times it was good. Didn’t get any in my paint anyway
