Only Two Players? Try These AMAZING MTG Draft Formats

I love drafting and playing cube, but the reality is that I can't get a large playgroup together on a regular basis and I don't have time to get out to the LGS most weekends. If you're like me, you'll love these awesome two player draft formats. Enjoy!

I personally do Winston draft, and have about 25 different boxed Winston drafts of different sets/blocks (I call them "cubelets").

My friend and I tried Winston a few times but found it takes a while to do. We now do a variant where we both draw a hand of 6, pick 2, swap hands, pick another 2, discard the remainder, repeat until whole deck has been drafted. It's really fast while having a hidden information element as neither of us know what the other picked from the original 6, and only an idea of what will be kept after passing the 4.
Grid looks super interesting though, I'll suggest giving that a try next time!

I have a new-player focused cube so I tend to run Grid drafts/rochester so that drafters can ask questions about cards before drafting them.
A nice benefit is you can increase the number of packs included to make the draft more forgiving, or reduce them as folks become more skilled.
