It's so strange just how customizable this game is, even to this day. Completely customizable movesets, and how they work, and the sheer amount of characters and maps, it's nuts.
The craziest parts are when you get to find *actually really good* characters and other content for an old engine like this, and the community of new creations is still thriving. Some of my most favorite things for it of all time include MVC styled characters, cartoons, and some even made exclusively for a Mortal Kombat styled game. You just have to know where you’re looking and you’ll find some surprisingly spectacular stuff. Obviously there’s gonna be more garbage than quality stuff since it’s a free open source game, but that’s what makes finding the good creations more special.
In my town here in Mexico, there was this place full of arcades, which are commonly known as "Maquinitas", the local had some "recent" arcades where you could play M.U.G.E.N. games, it was a very interesting and somewhat unique idea.

I know Kids in the states pretty much live on their smartphones. But in the same vein? Would go nuts for a Meme Arcade Locale. With the Iq of some of these brats? Not like they will download Mugen themselves? Their come in and look at the screen and pass out at the awesomeness than wonder when it will release on Xbox? I'll say, "Never, you have to come here, EA made it an exclusive release. That's why you pay coins? It's called a Microtransaction you have to carry with you...". I will charge for every custom character someone wants.... $100Million. Just like DR Evil would do...
Actually you don't need to code the stages. You can use vselect by clicking view. Then click on chars then click on stages. Click on excluded and left click include. Hope this helped.

I had MUGEN set up on my PS3 a few year's ago but didn't know how to transfer it over from my PC. Now I see they have it for Original X-Box so i might give that a try.

I downloaded your MUGEN folder and it says that the MMMBE system cant be read. If you could help I would appreciate it. edit: it turns out none of the def files work when I try to put them in my normal mugen but when I open them in notepad++ they still seem intact.
it pisses me off so much how MUGEN isn't as mainstream as it should be, people act like adding characters and stages is some movie hacker level bullshit, it's really not it's literally just opening up notepad and typing in plain text, not even close to coding or anything of the sort
