Close relationships with other humans are vital in life, of course. But the DEGREE of love and devotion a pet gives his family is second to none. Anyone with dogs, cats, etc. will confirm that no person is more protective of and attentive toward their children than they are. Beautiful to witness!
Most of the time a humans love is conditional where as an animals love is unconditional.

Dogs usually live until about 14ish. Unfortunately that loss will eventually hit hard since they're so close
So many people dump their pets when a baby is born. So glad to see how this family did everything right to include their BLESSING in welcoming and living with the new addition.

Your daughters eyes are so sweet Pets know how to be gentle its amazing how in tune they are to their human baby sis or bro I myself have Ceriblepalys and when I was young Our dogs would always be extra gentle with me when playing .

Lots of dogs have the natural nurturing instincts. Certain breeds and different dogs in any breed are often extra gentle, fascinated, love and become super protective with babies. However, they also like to have fun and get energetic too which can cause problems. The most important rule about kids and babies with dogs is to make sure both child and dog are supervised and taught/trained to fully respect each others space at all times in each other’s presence. Parents can and often do get too comfortable with kids and dogs, especially when they both usually test out, at different times, what ‘fun’ things they can get away with. This then too often results in one crossing the others comfort line too much and can and has led to anxiety, fear, aggression and dangerous behaviors that resulted in putting a dog down, or re-homed, or caused permanent reactive problem behaviors that require a lot of work but go left ignored to get much worse and dangerous, etc. No matter how wonderful anyone’s child and dog are together, please always keep a close eye on both and teach them both the importance and beauty of being gentle with each other. ❤️
