2nd horse ❤ being raised by a single mom who was homeless and 15 when she had me and just plowed through life to give me the best any boy could have followed by being a single Dad when we lost her mom my wife when my miracle of a Daughter was just 3 years old and watching the intelligence, grace, kindness and SOOO MUCH MORE...has given me the belief that any species, group etc that's happy to follow a strong female is a species or group that knows what to value and prioritize. If a group listens respects and responds to a strong female is almost always a smart group.

Had my 1st pony at 9yrd, learnt to ride with a lead rope and headcollar bare back. Each one of my children has been sat in the saddle as soon as they could sit up.

Great to see horses in good environments. My neighbors have two of them and they spend most of their lives in small areas. They can get out of the weather, but they have no room to run. The majority of the time that I drive past them, on my way in or out, they're just standing with their heads down, looking miserable.

never forget the day a lost beautiful big white lost stallion ran up to me on my property, after about 3 minutes of stroking and telling him how beautiful he was he took off in the same direction he came from hopefully he was found and returned to his owners, he made my day and gave me wonderful memories I MISS HIM

You guys are so lucky to be able to live surrounded by these wonderful creatures! Horses are adorable. Period. But when they're being so sweet, and/or so goofy - the ultimate in horsing around - the adorable factor is in the stratosphere!
Glytja is a lead mare if ever there was one. A definite alpha female. As for Rudnik, he was obviously badly maltreated, probably scared of you, but you had exsctly the right idea: show him you won't harm him and display trust, by making yourself vulnerable to him (him being considerably stronger than you). I've worked with half-wild yearlings who'd never been shown love; I did almost exactly what you did, and they responded so wonderfully...

I like riding horses, my older sister had a small farm where she did take care of others horses when they needed to travel. One was among the calmest and most funny horse I have ever met. Now my younger sister have 4 horses and her daughter have started to compete in jumping.

Hopefully the owners of these horses are being compensated in some way for the use of their content. I’ve subscribed to Rudnik’s CZcams channel for several months now.
Rescues should give priority to homes that won't ride the horses. Not rule them out, just have them lower on the list. Though people that practice it don't consider it abuse, it's clearly something they don't want and have to be coerced into doing.

These aren’t “giant” horses. They are average sized riding horses.
You must be short that horse is far from being giant. I owned a horse that was 19 hands thats big.
What I don't understand is this - if i nibbled on her like that she would have me arrested - but the horses can all they want. Life is unfair!
