The worst thing about ki charging/taunting Leroys is that they probably truly believe they're hot shit.
I feel like that's the case with a lot of players out there. Alisa and Law players seem ultra-guilty.

SolidSonicTH I try not to spam moves, if I do I stop doing moves for a few seconds for compensation. And If someone spams moves at me with no stopping, I do the same thing back.
@@KobeKeats I mean, if spam is working then it's not spam lol. The one receiving is at fault for not knowing how to stop it, provided the move isn't literally uncounterable by any reasonable means in the game. Spam is no problem, it's thinking you're hot shit when you suck that's stupid af.

- always taunts

- only knows one combo

You are a little too right there but not all leroys ki charge tho. And not all of them rage quit. But you are right about that one combo and parries. I even see quote unquote professional leroys do that and the one combo

That one combo was the optimal damage one, but I feel you already know this..the more Intermediate players are using different routes now depending on the launcher

It’s an absolute shame. Was so hyped at the reveal. Now here we are and I only played him in practice on release day, saw he was busted and literally stopped playing the game until they nerfed him because I was in fear I’d break a controller in online. And now here we are where the only people playing him are so toxic no one else wants to pick him up lmfao.
It doesn't help that, once you take the balance out of the equation, his gameplay design is incredibly boring. Jack-of-all-trades character that has no niche or speciality to the point where he basically steals moves from other characters. He deserved way better than how he was treated.

It's really sad that Leroy has basically become a meme/troll. Everyone was so hyped and looking forward to him before he got released. And then he turned out super broken and all of these 12-year-old try hards picked him up and now think they're good at the game, ki-charging all the time, not even realizing that they're playing the most dishonest character in the game. No matter what they do to Leroy now, he will forever remain hated. Bamco fucked up big time.
He is nowhere near fixed yet either. It's like I guessed before the patch. He is a fundamentally flawed design that can never be fixed for real.

Now imagine a scenario where Leroy was not too broken on release. Imagine all the love Leroy has. My current opinions on Leroy is that he is a character who will stat in the toxic side of the community. Release really left a mark on him. Namco spent all this tine on design and had good ideas. But when they did a crap job on patching it. Yeesh. Now Leroy is left as a hated character. I think it will even take years for Leroy to be in good shoes or atleast loved without any negative feelings from me and the Community a like. Lets just hope Fahkumram is not broken

Just a thought. Shouldn't Hwoarang have a taunt because his personality is somewhere on the cocky side. Like not all characters havw Taunts, but when they do it shows a bit of their character. Hwoarang is cocky and will probably be cocky if he (and every character really) has a more in depth story to them.

Little tip for Hwoarang players vs Leroy, RFF 2,3 will always beat his parry. The punch gets parried but the kick will land on counter hit for guaranteed combo.
But the Leroy can just wait though and parry the 2nd hit.
@@CosmicVoid420 perhaps, but in my experience they never have, they parry the first and then attack, but hwoarangs kick will interrupt.

Algorithm brought me here but it's always nice to see Leroy this defeated so that plug happens. I fought Leroy today and player was abusing Hissing Snake way to much (not learning from it because of being low parried nearly every time) and unga bunga Twin Dragon Gate stuff. Not to mention those panic Rage Arts as soon as his health dropped to rage threshold. I almost felt sorry, almost.
