The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

Although back then they rarely let singers perform live. Normally they would lip sync to their record. Plus the amount of orchestration this song has is more than shows have in their small bands.

The 80's were PACKED with male R&B talent. It was tough for Jeffrey to get all the accolades he deserved. But he's one of the greatest male vocalists

I’ve been a heavy metal fan for decades but have always thought this is one of the best songs ever written. Brilliant vocal performance, beautiful chordal harmony, stunning melody and gorgeous lyrics. ❤Jeffery Osbourne’s voice is just superb. A true vocalist.

Back home in the Philippines my neighbor played this song over and over until I memorize the song.
My number one male singer. I have seen him twice in concert and would see him again in a second. Can't believe he's like 70 years old, and he STILL sounds great. We can't forget he was a drummer originally with LTD and he had to sing once because the original lead singer had some type of issue, and the rest is music history.
