  • I bet you didn't expect this one did ya? Y'all are going to be so happy that I decided to put some good electronics in this thing. I figured that the Yeti electronics would be a good candidate because they are still "stock" electronics but I know they run pretty well. The water block was super fun to make and I am quite thrilled that this rig is now properly usable!

Using the drill to grind out the old block looks sick!

Damn! That is coolest thing I have seen! A water cooling system for the motor and electronics for an Rc! That is amazing!! Very cool setup you got there young lady!👌😎👍well done!

This has been a fascinating science project. Really cool to watch, and as always, well thought out and fabricated.

Good way to put it, a science project. Not exactly practical but a fun learning experience.

Reminds me of the days I was testing a few ESC I had made along with a couple of others. I usually went on the hottest days lol. Nice work on the water block.

Yep, the hottest days are the only time to go to really put it to the test!

this is what originally brought me to your channel a couple years ago. the water cooled RC car (I know they've been doing boats for days)
that custom water block is dope. get some liquid silver cooling paste for in-between the ESC and water block.
that bag is definitely part of the whole overheating issue. try larger guage wires and see if that helps

I do use some cpu thermal paste in between the block and esc. Yeah the chassis cover is no help but that's part of the challenge. And thats funny you should mention thicker wire, on one of my test runs recently one of the wires came out of the motor so I soldered on some 12 awg instead of the existing 14. Getting rid of that in-between connector helped a ton too though

Greetings from germany . I like that kind of mechanics! I built a watercooled petrol car too. hope we see many more from you 🔥

Great testing along with machining. Any chance of finding a smaller relay for the pump could help with space. Try your best in finding to Voltage Draw and resistance. Great video design along with fast pace, I'm happy for your time and video :)

Hey just a heads up. With water cooling, it good practice not to mix aluminum and copper components as it leads to galvanic corrosion. This will lead to the system needing to be cleaned way more often as metals corrode and clog the system.

Thanks for the info! Can't say I'm super worried about it for now but I'll keep it in mind
