Great cover of a simple but beautiful song. It could be released today instead of 1964 and it would do great on the charts as would most of the Beatles songs. They all stand the test of time. Never before or after will the world see 4 guys from one town with the talent and creativity of the Beatles take the world by storm and forever change its music the way the Beatles did ! Evan Rachel Wood did a fantasy job with this song !
Evan Rachel does an amazing job of singing this most difficult song to sing. Strong voice, clarity, and mostly accapella. Great song and has been one of my Beatles staples since the movie A Hard Days Night came out many, many relationships ago.
@missstellathecat she sings this perfectly in the movie as well, and they recorded her singing while filming so there was no tuning. This IS her voice.

It's a revenge song. A nasty little emotion, revenge, like jealousy in the rear view mirror. They expunged "and that he will cry when he learns we are two" But still. Lovely melody for one humanity's lesser emotions.
Okay....often when a cover is done it creates a backlash of critism against the the artist and producers doing the cover. Many a harsh words towards the singer on how they could even attempt to make the orginal better.....but when you do it right, and put your own twist in the song and do it in a respectful way....it turns out a wonderfully made song.
Agree. I'm a big Beatles fan, and generally speaking you have to have a certain amount of cred in my book before I'll even listen to your version. Like, if you don't have a couple of Grammys or "Sir" in front of your name how DARE you cover a Beatles song. But if you do, then...well, you better be able to do this.
i'm singing this for my school talent show (if i get in anyway, we have some very talented people at my school!)!! I love this song and she did an AWESOME cover if it!! I has how she doesn't sing ALL of the song though. I sing it anyway! LOL

I realize I shouldn't lie about my age on the internet, and no, I do not think it it acceptable to do for any reason or because everyone else does it... But I really like to listen to music and watch old movies online. You have a valid point, but please, don't think everyone under 13 who lie about their age are too immature to handle the internet. It makes me sad that I'm being labelled as immature for my age because of other's actions.
@duckE That was what I was trying to tell the other girl, that there is a drastic difference between autotune and pitch correction. I never expected her to be a perfect singer but she is definitely not autotuned like Kesha.
@duckE Yes, mixing,no one can hit the notes one hundred percent correctly one hundred percent of the time, we're human. However, she is not autotuned...that's a completely different from mixing and polishing. Kesha is autotuned.
I normally don't like a remake of songs but this one is simply beautiful.

This is a great cover. I like it about as much as the original due to being slower and nearly haunting in a sense.
If you sing Stockholm Syndrome by One Direction the same way, it sounds equally as haunting.....
