I've had this USGI 3 day assault back from the military for about 3 weeks or so. I've tried it out for bushcraft and EDC purposes and this is my video of what I think of it.
Thanks for showing. I´ve the same pack, like you´ve said, the volume of it is good. It´s enough, but not to much space in it. I´ll take mine for a little time out in the woods. Hiking, relaxing in a hammock, having a coffee or such. Just some comfort items for a few hours free time in it. But I´m a big friend of ALICE packs too. The large and the medium are both good choices. Thankfully the US Army Surplus stuff is easy available here in Germany 😉

I have one of these packs . I shoe glued velcro on mine for ventilation tubes from a plate carrier.

That is awesome to hear and I agree I like my bigger green ALICE for extended stays in the woods.
Nice setup you should do a overnight or two if you can.
