A bird in the shower is a big no no. When they seize up like that they a focusing on trying to breathe. If you want to bathe your bird, fill your sink up a bit and let them shake around in it. They'll puff up their feathers and make a mess, but that's how they bathe
Yes, and some birds like being sprayed with water a bit. You can have them outside the shower where they're just getting a light spray and they might enjoy that.
@@littlechickenman yeah, I've sprayed my big bids with spray bottle, they'll ruffle their feathers and shake to get the water in. Just depends on the bird and size
Learn your birds body language and it'll work fine
You can shower them depending on species. It's important to give them room to move out of the water spray, and not have it too warm.

Birds birds birds birds birds birds oh my god I love them. They're one of my favourite things in the world rn.
I have befriended my local pigeons and handfeed them almost every single day, a couple of them are okay with getting pet too. They fly up to land in my hands, on my arms and sometimes on my little shoulder bag. I love them so so much. Nothing brings me as intense immediate joy as they do.

8:40 i’m honestly not surprised. The same thing goes for rats. Rats are very clean animals. However, they get a bad rap for being dirty because you usually see them in the city. I think they are smart enough to know that they can’t clean themselves when they live in a journey environment.
