Oden's Eye understood the assignment two years in a row. Absolutely beautiful palettes.
I'm really grateful that a company actually brought back a palette that we want. It doesn't make sense to me when you make something beautiful and then say "sorry discontinued, nothing for you '. Ecstatic to be able to buy the Christmas palettes this time.
YES!! I somehow completely missed out on them last year because I didn't even hear about them until they were already sold out. And the Christmas Eve palette has been the only palette that I have ever felt like it was "the one that got away", lol. I have a huge eyeshadow palette and Indie single eyeshadow collection, so it takes a lot for a palette to make me feel like that. So I am really freaking happy they are the type of company to actually listen to the customers.

I was thinking the holo shade wasn’t even that special … until you showed the swatches with a flashlight and I audibly gasped at the rainbows 😂
I can not express how freaking happy I am that they brought back last year's palettes in addition to releasing the new ones! I somehow didn't hear about them until they were already sold out, and the Christmas Eve palette is the only palette I have felt like it was "the one that got away", lol. I was literally telling someone last week how I am so disappointed I missed out on it, and was really hoping they would bring it back this year. I literally have over 100 palettes in my collection, as well as close to 150 Indie single shadows, of which more than half are really fun shifty and sparkly shadows. So it takes a lot for me to get hung up on a certain palette like I have with the Christmas Eve palette. Usually something else comes along and sparks my interest more, or I get practical and know I can most likely dupe it with what I have in my existing collection. But there is just something really special about that palette, and I still can't really put my finger on what it is.
I do REALLY wish they did a discounted bundle where you could pick two out of the four, or at least done bundles of last year's and then a separate bundle for this year's, instead of only bundling them all together. It also would have been really freaking awesome if they had done a highlighter and/or blush palette to go along with them, but that is probably getting greedy 😂.
I want you to know that when I bought the two restocked xmas palettes, I used your code because despite all the people who rep OE, I appreciate how thorough and systematic you are in your reviews. You are the consumer's digest of makeup reviews and if anyone is boring like me and reads it, you know that's a compliment.

I think its great they did a different holiday color story, there are other winter holidays and people who don't celebrate any holidays, it's a pretty winter vibe with lots of possibilities.
The reindeer palette reminds me of Christmas candy and Christmas lights! Many people look forward to a Pat McGrath mothership or Natasha Denona launch, for me, it’s Oden’s eye! I refuse to say no to their launches, and can’t wait for this one! (I love PM and ND too, but have passed on some of theirs)
Exactly, Christmas lights and ornaments was my first thought, too! I love how they are able to capture different aspects of Christmas with each colour story. 🩷
Will be purchasing all 4. Haven’t bought a ton of palettes this year - the only ones I HAVE purchased are Odens Eye though lol!! Flora Story, Sea Talk, and the Halloween palette. Now these. They understood the assignment!
The cover art for the new ones is Everything 🥺 so, so cute! Wish they sold the scarves separately.
edit: that Frankincense shade!! oh my gosh... might have to get the snow man palette, not just for that, but especially for that 😆
I'm really into the Snow Dreams palette! I like the softer winter colors this year after so many dark Fall palettes. Maybe it's because I live on the SoCal Pacific Ocean where snow is an actual dream😂
If you're able to I would love to see a side by side of the Hellaween Trick or Treat palette with the Merry Christmas palette, because just eyeing the colors the color stories look similar with Trick or Treat pulling more orange and Merry Christmas pulling more muted red.
Also, if we cut that helaween trick or treat palette in 2 (top 2 rows vs bottom 2 rows) we'd get the perfect 2 small palettes, one for Halloween and one for Christmas!
I'm hoping they might still release some sparkly glosses and/or new blushes and highlights at some point. The last ones were so beautiful and we're due for some new ones.
I am grateful to have both palettes from last year, and I don't feel like I need this year's collection. The Christmas Eve palette is my fave.
Off-topic for this video, but would you consider doing a review of the Juvia’s Place Afrogalactic palette? I know it’s been out for a little bit now, but I’m struggling to find honest reviews that aren’t super ad-like. Everything feels like people reading ad copy on it.

I adore the reindeer palette, it’s such a beautiful winter to spring palette. I love muted tones and I can always use the pink, reds, orange and even browns as blush. Thank you for the gorgeous swatches

I would also like some comparison swatches to see if at some point OE isn't becoming redundant. They are getting really prolific with their releases. A minimum of 2 palettes at almost every drop this year
The Reindeer palette seems very fun elf inspired. I like the Snowman more though
I’m curious to know if there is overlap between the reindeer palette and the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette. 🤔
I'd love to see two side-by-side looks with the Snow Dream palette. One a green neutral look and one as colorful as you can get to show the range of the palette. You could do the same with the other palette--a grey neutral look and a very colorful look.
I would love to see a comparison between your flora story palette greens and purples, and the green and purples in the new palettes.
All my palettes are 2-3+ years old. I think its time to part with them and upgrade my collection to Odens Eye
Definitely picking up last year’s Christmas Day palette. Considering the Xmas Eve palette as well but I don’t often wear cool tones or blues. But Amanda liked it…
I also just picked up Colourpop’s Winnie the Pooh palette which is in transit it to me right now. It overlaps with the Snow Dream palette so I may not pick up this year’s LE palettes from OE.

I like the Christmas Eve and Snow Dream the most out of the four too! I may grab both but if not, I’m grabbing the Christmas Eve palette! For me, the Reindeer palette is too pink for me to be a Christmas palette. Btw, I love you Halloween Hello Kitty mug! ❤😊

I desperately wish they would sell "Elf Wish" as a single, because that's literally the only shade I want in the one palette from last year. That pink and green shift is the exact kind of pink and green shift I've been looking for!

Im trying to figure out which ones to get, but I have notice some similar shades in these new palettes from both the halloween palette and some kf the shades in the flora palette, so I thinknim gonna take a look at all of my Odens eye palettes to make a decision.

I've got all the older ones and none of the newer. The last one I purchased was hela. There's just too many. I don't need them all, so I end up choosing none. To be honest, I haven't used them as much as I thought. I have been reaching for abh, natasha and adept most lately.

I want the frankincense shade but I don't want the whole palette and I am so torn. I love the reigndeer palette. I'm trying to be a sensible lady who doesn't need a full on palette for a single shade. I can be a sensible lady.
I think I am getting all 4. I had to skip last year. I only have Hela and your palette from them. I really want the Stone and Rock but it will wait til BF.

I have a hard time deciding what I want the most! I did miss out on the Christmas Eve last year though, so it might be top priority for me. They are all really beautiful and unique!
The only "issue" I have is that I feel that the shade names don't always "fit" and they have some spelling errors 😄 but that's a small "issue" to have.

Maybe they corrected the misspellings in last year's palettes? That would feel like the logical move.

I was expecting you would maybe compare those 2 to other Oden s palettes. I have 10 in my collection and am trying to be rational and not buy this two (or better four). So... i need somebody to tell me that the shades are repetitive :)
There might be a few similar colors here and there but overall not nearly enough to justify full palette comparisons 😅
I made myself a BYOP of the snowman palette tonight, and I’m excited to use it tomorrow!!
