Miss potato head, I think, is about how you shouldn't change yourself for others. The I feel like this is made clear by the MV as crybaby starts changing herself based on others opinions of her when she watches the TV and sees this woman's story about changing herself for a man she realizes how it's bad..I say this because the woman didn't propose to get the surgery then did, she was even noticeably distressed at first but once she was solid this idea that he would love her if she got it she consented only for her to further hate how she looks and being discarded the second she didn't look how than wanted
Fun Fact: The Melody of Carosel, Nurses Office (K-12) and Pluto (Portals Deluxe) are the SAME melody with different instruments. They all share a common theme of feeling stuck in a situation.

Cry Baby, Cake and Sippy Cup are my faves off the whole album. This album made my adolescence, and I still listen to it a lot as a 20 year old. I especially relate to Cry Baby a lot, bc I grew up being bullied, and whenever I had a reaction, people would bully me further for being a "Cry Baby" or a "spazz", so the song was really comforting for me.

I think Cry baby is a good intro, why? because it telling us how the main character is perceive by people around her, so when we follow that to Doll House, we understood why she is a "cry baby" her family thinks she is burden and dramatic but she is just traumatize by her disfuntional family.

I think that the reason they put crybaby as the first song in the album is because crybaby is the name of the character that the story is about, so it tells us about the character that the story follows. But yes, dollhouse is definitely the first part of the story.

Here is the info about the album. BTW the music is in oder of the music vids. Also, if you watch the vids you can see the full story of the character crybaby being born and going through life with a lot of trauma, btw, she got powers. K-12 is her going through school and Portals is her dying and going to the afterlife.
Crybaby: A more personal song to her, when she was young she was called out for being overly sensitive. Thus, crybaby.
Dollhouse: Damaged household, pretending that everything is perfect.
Sippy cup: Again, pretending everything is perfect and covering it up. But whatever you do the truth always comes to life.
Carosel: Going round in a circle of love, trying to catch up to it but you can't, thus, being trapped in a carosel, going round and round in love.
Alphebet boy: Once again, more person experience to her, she had a boyfriend that had a music diploma and he was trying to teach her how to sing and what to do with her music since he though he was smarter than her but Mel said '' not today bi**. ''
Soap: Also one of her personal songs too, about her first love and she didn't know how to react to love and didnt know how to express her feelings towards that person and said some things she didn't want to say so she wanted to '' wash her mouth out with soap. ''
Training wheels: Again I think another more personal one, a relationship where crybaby wanted to take her relationship to the next level, so take her relationship to another level but he doesn't want to, she wants to take the training wheels off but he was too scared to, in the music vid, the boy dissapears/ fades away, which I think that represents him getting too scared and running away / breaking up with her because he would rather break up with her than trying to move on.
Pity party: A very literate song, no once coming to crybabys birthday party.
Tag your it: Cryaby getting kidnapped. Which if you would see the music vids, crybaby was throwing the party decorations in the bin before getting abducted.
Cookies and milk: Crybaby posing the kidnapper and getting free.
Pacify her: Crybaby stealing someone's man, which makes sense if you think about it.
Mrs. Potato head: Pretty obvious, insecurity and plastic surgery.
Mad hatter: Crybaby finally going insane from all the trauma.

Mrs Potato head is not against plastic surgery, because in many cases it’s used to make the person feel better about themselves, it’s condoning how some people make women believe that they NEED it even when they don’t think they need it, leading to them thinking they’ll be happier or people will find them more attractive if they get it, which leads to kids thinking there’s something wrong with them for not being redone like those ladies who get a temporary kick out of it and end up wasting their money and authenticity out of feeling like people find them more beautiful.
