Yes the lenses are thick and do magnify quite a bit 👍

I haven’t seen that make before. That style of lantern is reasonably common over here ( Ireland & UK ) usually they sell for about $50 . I have a couple of chalwyn’s and bought a BAT a few weeks ago. That’s a nice one you got there.
