This is, to this day, still the best rendition I've heard of this song. Legend.
This was one of the first i found, and is still my favorite, out of all the other renditions i’ve heard.
I would say it's up. Taylor Davis goes back and forth between song of time and song of storms that I really. That one might be my favorite.
The Prelude of Light song they made is also legendary. 10 years, 23k views and still the best rendition I've heard.

Just popping in to say I first heard this cover around 10 years ago, and I still consider it the gold standard I compare other versions of Song of Storms to. The variations on the theme feel natural, like they were always meant to be part of the piece. The original Song of Storms is like a windmill, "round and round," but this version takes me on a journey. It's no longer just "round and round," but also under and over and twisting and turning in beautiful ways. Masterful work, my good sir

12 years ago, I listened to this song, I loved it that much that I played it on repeat while I slept. It became the reason why I got into music and thanks to that I have met incredible people, and found that thing that really fills me as a person and gives me happiness

Ok so about 1 and a half a year ago I listened to this song at the age of 11 and thought this was the absolute best thing ever and so I started looking for videos online to play it and learned it and slowly studied more piano songs and talked to people and was suddenly fascinated with music.. and all I have done in the spare time I have had I mean I gave up my notsobad addiction to video games to study music and teach myself things from theory to how to read notes and what things mean...and I saw this video in my watch it again list and saw the sheet music and played it and it have me a flashback of my past 2 years of my life and how far I've come from spending 4-5 hours on video games to piano every day and it really touched me that this song is what inspired me and how it's so beautiful..let me say you have litterally changed my life good sir props to you.my life actually means something

Valxiya The longshot is the upgrade of the Hookshot in oot which shoots farther so it still works. 🙂

This is one of the very rare time im actually disapointed i cant buy this song instead of download it for free. This song is so full of emotion and dedication that I would like a link to donate something to you at least for giving us such a superb rendition of a song we all love.
The beginning of this piece in particular sounds like something you'd hear in the BOTW OST. All the old themes are drawn out with hints of the main melody. Surprised this theme didn't make it into the game, honestly. It would've been perfect for Thundra plateau. Nice work!

I wanted to thank you. I'm not sure if I ever did. I put this song onto my phone and started listening to it nonstop during the morning that I was working, which is all outdoor work. This song made me extremely happy, even when thinking about depressing subjects. I got to thinking about my grandmother who had recently passed away and about how I rarely see my parents anymore because I'm so busy, but managed to smile through it all. Then, very suddenly, it began to rain...

proud, but this song has a very different atmosphear, is deeper but is not as pure and clean as the original, is a little bit fake indeed, koji kondo is very hardcore , this is a little "amelie" feelings, i dont like it, i have enough amelie on me thats the reason i always return to hyrule

Made 8 years ago, however, if there's any chance you check youtube again, I love this! I wanted to listen to song of storms, and this is just fantastic.
Can you hear it? It's peaceful. The rain. So serene and beautiful. Only then can you see the true intention of the rain. To take back what was once it's. It shall consume Hyrule. Can't you hear it? The storm is calling.
Okay so first thing is first. The beginning notes are so mystical and pretty. I love the raindrop effect you used. It made it seem as if the rain was pouring outside with big rain drops dripping from the roof. And then oh my- the lower octaves picking up like a roar of thunder crashing down to the earth. The calms before the storm and then the pick ups with the harmony was so gorgeous. Well done my friend. You have pleased both my theoretical and nerdy ears.
Around two years ago, I listened to your cover for the first time, after discovering it thanks to someone. I fell in love with it as I heard it. This song has been the main theme of my story with this person. As I listen to it now, I still love it like the first day. I know it's impossible for others to know what this song means to me, but it is worth gold. This music (and your version particularly) will be etched on my memory. Thank you Mark of Two. I've just begun to teach myself how to play the piano, and one of the first songs I've begun learning is the song of storms from a music sheet online. I don't know whether I feel threatened by this peice you played, or inspired. Hell, probably both. I am barely stringing everything together (left hand definitely needs work, especially with syncing to the right) but this is spectacular. Only dreaming of acheiving this level of excellence right now.

I love this. While musically declined I have always found myself attracted to the sound of the piano. And the nostalgia that comes with this is amazing. It has even inspired me to learn to play it myself. Having never touched a piano or read sheet music before I quickly gained an enormous amount of respect for this. After a couple of years I'm still trying to play it by ear. But great job and great choice of music!

I've listened to so many versions of this song.. But finally, I found yet another cover that truly shows *love*. I love when covers show true heart and passion rather then just.. soulless. I've noticed so many covers have lost heart in favour of views. But this one feels like it has love and passion with the new twines of notes~. How lovely.

I do want to work my way to a full album eventually, but right now, my life makes any kind of progress incredibly slow. I'm also still very much an amateur musician, so I have a tough time reaching a level of sound quality and arrangement quality that I am truly satisfied with.
I want to take music lessons again soon and I plan to go to a music college, but that'll be much later. So, as you can imagine, it may be quite a while before I finish that album. ^^;

Then i reminisce to my journeys throughout Hyrule, Termania, Holodrum, and Labrynna. My difficulties with consistency coupled with the fact that I have a new job has slowed my progress on music almost to a complete stop over the past couple of weeks. I should be working more regularly on stuff once I get settled with my new routine but that will take at least another week or two.
Also, I'm still mostly in the concept stages for the songs I'm working on, so there is no telling how long it will take to finish one. So, it could be anywhere between a month and 6 months.
