Here Im going to teach you the best methods and why you would choose one over the other when propagating pothos cuttings. Both methods work great but result in a different style pothos configuration. After watching this video you should have a better idea why you would choose either method.
Propagating Pothos is a fun way to gain additional plants and share with others.

Whenever I propagate something I'll do two special steps. 1)I'll cover the bottom half of the clear container because roots grow towards darkness and prefer it. 2) when the roots get long enough I sprinkle a little of the soil I'll be planting them in about a week before I plan on planting them

I appreciate you actually showing the root propagation over time! most people show cuttings and no follow up!

This is BY FAR, the most comprehensive video about pothos propagation out there, I bought Cebu blue cuttings from Etsy and followed his recommendations, the only thing I did differently was I used sphag moss, the growth has been explosive! Thank you so much, because of you I have a fuller, better looking pothos.

I’m going to walk into work tonight with some scissors and steal some of their pothos

I cut off a vine about 10 inches and planted it in a pot. Laid it down in a circle like a crown and asked for a blessing to the universe. 😂 It actually worked. It was touch and go some days, but now I have a crown of pothos.

I do not know why, but my pothos grow better in tropical animal soil (pet store soil meant for tropical lizards), compared to potting soil.

One day i repotted my pothos in one long vine, turned out i made them stressed and dried. So i cut the dead leaves and let the vine hanging up (i thought that it could be the guide for it to climb up). After few weeks, new leaves are growing from the nodes on the dried vine (which i thought was dead already!!) and forming new vine in new direction!! So do not waste the dried vine guys! Just keep water it and it will grow back 😁

What’s weird about my water propagated pothos plant is the actual cutting is growing longer, without growing roots 🤔

Your older leaves on the marble queen died because they werrent getting enough light. You can tell because all the new leaves reverted to plain green.

"Tolerable to mistreatment" that's my kind of plant 😂 great video! I put mine straight into dirt last week and it seems to be doing ok so far.

These plants are truly blessings. Imagine the earth with none of these life giving plants and trees. Where would humans be?Always appreciate these small blessings

IT's a tough plant, but my wife moved it into a dark bedroom after years of it thriving in the family room. It got almost no light or water, and I'm trying now to bring it back from the brink of death. If it survives, I'll start propagating it, and I never thought about that before until now.

Excellent video~! My Mother plant is 30 years old, and I have created so many new plants from it. (like you do). I use both methods. However, lately, I have been using moist Sphagnum Moss, to propagate them. Have you tried that?
