I'm sitting here shouting at the screen! It is utterly shameful that anyone would see somebody in need and choose to drive off. If this was a real hit and run those people would be semi responsible if that person died, saving someone's life after an injury is totally time dependant!
A few weeks ago my terrified friend called me in the middle of the night saying she thought she saw a dead body in an abandoned alleyway. I got out of bed in my pyjamas and walked for five minutes to where she was, where there was a man lying unconscious. As a 17 year old girl I put myself in a vulnerable position when i thought somebody was in need. These are fully grown men running away in this video. We both called an ambulance, performed CPR, and hopefully saved the mans life, but many people walked past him and didn't help, when we were there and when we weren't.
What makes it worse is these people in this video have had an injured person FLUNG in front of them and they decide to walk away. i give up on humanity !
don't know what's the delio in Italy, but in finland if you see someone who needs immediate help, and you refuse to help, you can be judged for exposition.

drilon kelmendi How are you a suspect if you help? In most western countries there is a good samaritan law, if you help someone but it doen't work out right you can't be prosecuted for it, it helps in alot of cpr cases where the victim breaks ribs while being reanimated.
they are worried of what might happen, like a while ago this guy was raping a girl in the park me(he was white) and 4 of my friends grabbed the guy off of her and beat him up (we are all black), we all went to prison, he sued up for beating him up and won the case, i went to prison for 2 years and the news papers show that 5 black males jumped a white male, said nothing about him rapping the girl

This makes me quite sad, I was involved in a hit-and-run. The driver drove away after hitting me whilst I was going to the bus stop. I had 3 people come up to me, but I worry because that may just be because I was a 14 year old. Let's just say im scared of roads now. But what happens if I was older? Would people still have helped?

It reminds me of back awhile ago in China when a little girl around 5 was hit and the driver drove off and her body layed there for more than an hour before a cleaning employee finally called the ambulance apparently he saw it and thought it was trash till he got a better look at it >>
I remember that video clip while watching the news one morning before heading to school. It was so sad. She laid there in here own blood crying for hours while passersby simply walked over and around here. I thought about it the entire day and I found it enraging that she died at the hospital. :/

I see people saying they would leave the body and the area because they don't want to get mugged by a gang for being a witness.. I strongly disagree, I would go there no matter what! Sure the worst could happen but at least I went to help that person and if all failed I wouldn't live with that "what if?" Conscious for the rest of my life.. Even if it was a prank... I would go straight to that person. If I did get caught by a gang or another car at least I went out of this world while trying to save someone whose life is just as important as my own..

I would call 911 and go after the attacker at the same time to get his plates number and stay behind them until police arrives on track with me

Just a thought. I agree that those who got in the car were hoping to chase the hit and run vehicle, probably to get the licenses plate number for cops or something.
Priority one should be the victim's life, before it's (if it isn't already) too late...
Last week a kid on a bike was hit in front of my bus stop. All 30 kids at my bus stop laughed except for me, and the man that hit him yelled at him for possibly damaging his car. I was about to run over to help him, but the kid got on his bike and rode off from embarrassment. This is a terrible world.

Gas stations have cameras for recording licence plates in order prevent tanking without paying
Plus in most contries' law (not sure about this one though) there is an actual duty for either doing the first aid or calling for the help, and you could get sentenced for dodging it
These two facts are well known for anyone who has driving licence, and yet, even though they know they will have troubles for NOT helping, they still choose to dodge... why?

Wow, this kind of reminds me of the incident I had before. Except, it was an old granny who accidently, slightly ran me over, and I fell down. It was really disappointing that she didn't even get out of the car to help me or say anything, she just drove on by.
There were 3 witnesses that saw, only 1 of them helped, and I'm really grateful for the guy that did help me up and asked if I was alright.

Not even one single person was to dare seek medical attention to the dummy directly, they had either let the ambulance take care of it, or run away shocked. and even if they did call the police, if this was real life, the guy could have been dead by the time they got there.

I respect you for proposing a logical situation - in a location with other people you might guess that someone would assist the person while you tracked down the aggressor. That being said, it's not the correct way of thinking. In a time of crisis, the victim comes first, and you need to be the one who acts. The gas station has cameras so you have to have faith that the person will get caught. If you go after the aggressor and the victim dies, the blood is just as much on your hands.

These are the types of pranks/experiments I love, because it shows in some cases how you were raised. As for me I would've ran up to see if he/she was okay or if they needed medical assistance. As for others, maybe they had an urge deep down inside of them to go check and see if the person who was hit is okay. But then a different side of them is afraid. Afraid that they might find and dead and dilapidated body. I see a lot of comments talking about how bad people are for not checking on them and I just needed to clear some things up.
you know why I hate these pranks/experiments? next time, when an actual person needs help, those people who called the emergency will think that "oh it's an other of those stupid pranks" and won't do shit.

My living environment teacher had survived a hit and run, he was in the hospital for 3 months instead of 9 like he was supposed to, thanks to God he was able to recover much faster although he had broken ribs and pelvis, he is all fine now and continues to be the track captain (:

A lot of these people saw the mannequin on top or they thought it was a gang related incident like the people at the gas station going behind their cars. Also i'm sure people would be more inclined to help if the victim was moaning and moving around.
