Danny Contreras the current gen sho is on the same volvo platform as the s80. When ford switch to the Volvo platform for the taurus/500 at the time it could have been drop right in. Ford officially states thst this was not the case but its obvious that someone had the idea... But yamaha was already contracted to make the engine and ford didnt want the sho again walking on the mustang and gave the engine to volvo. Or thats what im guessing... For a long time ford always tried to position the mustang as the fastest car in the lineup...

But I have found a video, yet. It is from Germany, the car has got customs exhaust and it sounds pretty good in my humble opinion.

You know what's funny? This engine, the B8444S, is used in Noble M600, where it has two turbochargers. It makes 660 Horse Power in Track Mode... IT'S A VOLVO ENGINE THAT PUSHES 660HP!

Howls like an F1 at 6,000 RPM. So loud, soooo aggressive haha. Plus it frees up about 9hp, and even more on a cold day.
Just asking, but if I were to get an S80 V8... Is there any way to make it sound like this while still keeping the exhaust on? Also... I have watched this video about 20 times now. I love it.

What are the pipe diameters like for the exhaust? I also have an S80 V8, and but I haven't gotten a chance to get under it to measure anything. I'm pretty sure past the resonator its 2.5" then splits to 2" behind the rear axle. However I have no idea what the dual inlets/outlets of the resonator measure, would you have any idea?
