it's not animated by mappa's team it was from miso team from bones studio they worked on some of the best episodes of mob psycho & they only worked on 2 or 3 episodes in whole year

@@KarTik-ii3un For this season they are part Mappa's team of animators. Just because they've worked on other things doesn't somehow mean they're not a part of this. The majority of studios don't have in house animators, they are still a part of the team that Mappa assembled to work on this season.

They mention almost all sorcerers become cursed spirits after death unless they’re exorcised with cursed energy… And he’s over 1000 years old, pretty sure humans don’t live that long…
You could get away with saying he’s a cursed object who reincarnated but there ain’t no way you can say he isn’t a curse. I like to think of him more as a cursed object because they mention that after all the time he spent in Yuji’s body; YUJI is basically an object steeped in cursed energy. And I like the comparison

Yeah, personally Choso vs Yuji was a way better fight in all regards, but Sukuna vs Jogo was really fucking good
Both Choso vs Yuji and Sukuna vs Jogo are best fights in their own ways. The former focuses a lot on the individual moves and close-ups, while the latter shows the sheer scale of devastation and damage both of the special-grades are capable of. I would say every fight in the Shibuya arc is perfect at doing what it is intended to do

@@jchavs0212 depends on how they space things out. the anime added in some things for both fights this episode to fluff it up, since the fights in the manga weren't really all that bombastic. ex: the jogo and sukuna fight was only really jogo getting face slammed into a building, then showing off maximum meteor and everything that happens after that. you could end the season w the final battle of the shibuya arc, but the epsiodes are a little wonky that way since the last fight is kinda close iirc, so they might add stuff from the next arc. as for sukuna just getting started.. it doesnt really matter if hes using yuji's body for a long time, or for a brief moment. after all, sukuna can do a lot with any amount of time :)
@@mani4929 no it's not we basically done with sukuna, he has a tiny fight with mahoraga and then done. Acc we kind done with all major fights except mahito vs yuji but it's not gonna be as good as this episode.

This episode shows that Sukuna is really above everyone else both in terms of power and mindset. It's important to note that he still has respect for Gojo to an extend tho, Sukuna is big on acknowledging strength

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that the people complaining about the animation aren't serious because every week I see nothing but peak and everyone loves it
sometimes i even forget about the change of artstyle because the amount of peak here isn't normal
I actually recently went back and watched episode 1 of season 1 as those tend to have better animation for a majority of the show since it's the pilot and they need to entice people. Like the animation was good but the stlye was so restricting due to the high details and heavy/thick dark lines and shading that there's no way they could've made this fight happen with that art style unless it were a movie.

The episode 14 was really weak tho. It's not the animators fault ofc. It is okay to point at mistakes when they are obvious. Pretending that everything is perfect is just dishonest.
@@realswobby I mean everyone's expectations are just through the roof because of how insane some of these episodes are. Like episode 14 is rough by the standards it has set in the past but by average anime standards its still really good. Though i get waht you mean, when episodes are rough we need to blame MAPPA's scheduling but when the animators pop off and go crazy we need to prio them for the praise.

Literally LOVE that he says "Not Zenin, huh?" Because being a Zenin vs a Fushiguro makes all the difference for Toji and I think that was enough to give him peace. It's not so often that we see the men in families taking the woman's last name either (Toji taking his wife's last name- Fushiguro), and I think it's just SOO well done

shit was fluid like naruto vs pain, but the characters weren't distorted to that extent, i still lobe the pain fight tho
had to turn down detailings for the sake of fluidity. I'd rather choose this type of animation over detailed fights cuz this really shows how intense the fight really is.

9:30 Bro, I felt the same way. Mainly because I was so happy seeing an animated version of a fight I enjoyed extremely in the manga. They friggin' snapped it left me breathless.
The wavering voice after holding back your tears is the part where I couldn’t hold mine but realised that next thursday’s gonna be even worse. Toji was a father through and through for selling his kid to provide a better future cause he knew that he couldn’t provide him anything better than the clan as he is the odd man out.
I'm guessing the whole sellout thing happened after Toji's wife died, and he realised he couldn't be the father Megumi deserves. This, in his mind, was the best version of "taking care of Megumi" that he could manage.
Nikolas was cheesing so hard at @6:07 thinking it was going to be wholesome moment. And then the camera zooms out and Toji has just stabbed himself. I laughed so hard at Nikolas face

The thing I love about Shibuya incident is that it is a marathon. It just keeps building, and building, and building. You don't get to breathe until the entire thing is over. You can't structure every arc like that obviously, that would be exhausting, but having that as the main turning point of the story is brilliant.
Comparatively most arcs have short sprint here and there, it's more like intervals, which is fine as well. But when you break that up it's less repetative and gives more nuance and unpredictability to the narrative structure and events. I'm also very happy that not all arcs in JJK is structured like this, it's good because of the contrast to other arcs (just to be clear it's a reason, not the only reason, and obviously just my humble opinion).
