I went into Andys Records store whilst I was playing hooky from college one afternoon, and wanted some "drum and bass with a tune and ideal for listening to whilst smoking" I picked up logical progression 1 (dunno if there's a 1 CD version but mine was 2 CD's) and fell in love with this music ever since!
+Somewhere Over the rainbow unverse 1993 big love he dropped dj crystl meditation didn't know if I was coming or going one mad tune,set and night. Life changing moment.Check out the promised land volume 1 all the classics and Conrad just developing into his unique style

I really didn't 'get' his style when I first heard his sets whilst I was a '6:00 am Nutter' in '92-'93, but now I've grown up, I can see so clearly. Genius, genius, genius. Sorry for ever doubting you, LTJ.
Marc G-Jeffery ya he was way ahead in 93-95. Dj Crystl was the other producer who was also forward thinking producing Intelligent Jungle but sadly didn’t stick with it.
Hes got a great ear for production, atmosphere and a groove. A London boy like me too.
Let me tell you all, I was with LTJ on Saturday 1/2/2020 at the roadmenders in Northampton, He played a proper mega banging set of tunes, Daniel (Bukem) has never lost his touch, I even got him to personally sign 2 of my Imported LTJ CD covers, which i must add, he was very humbled to do so and more than happy do and meet his followers, Top bloke!
Me too, my last live music event before Covid hit! His style of D’N’B is timeless because it touches on your soul and this is why he’s been in the game circa 30 years and still sounds refreshing ❤️💛💚
I met him at Fabric about 2 months ago - literally couldn't have been a more lovely, humble guy. HERO status in my book, and there ain't many :)
The Godfather of soulful DnB, but it also at times tilts the cap to a history of Jungle and DnB evolution. Great mix.

Saw LTJ in San Francisco on multiple occasions in the late 90s, early 2000s and he always BLEW UP THE SPOT!! Insane shows @5150 and Justice League are indeed some of my dearest clubbing memories. To LTJ, Mc Conrad, Roni Size, Grooverider and Fabio and that whole crew, much love and respect. ;-)

i first heard bukem when I was ten. mates brother had a tape of him and Carl Cox slamin techno together. then my god went to a festival with my dad and bought tape after tape of him mixing d and b for kiss one hundred.i am just eternally grateful for the last twenty four years.

I'm massively into liquid but this isn't it. It's more like a techno jungle, hear a few trance sounds in there, few melodic ect. It's its own style, love it!
