I first heard this guy on my local radio station. They played rock and roll but every Saturday night they'd play DJs live at a club in Dallas. The lizard lounge. I heard this guys set and was enamored. I spun dnb at the time and had never heard anything like this.

I've loved Bukem for decades, but have always known him within the old-skool jungle context. Absolutely love this mix and it's great to see Danny's sublime taste shining through in the form of more modern material. IMO a flawless set throughout and I love the Technicolour remix of "Music" to close.
One of Bukem's best IMO - an absolute clean, rolling liquid masterpiece from beginning to end :D

Danny, my first ever encounter of your music was when I was at college in around 94/95 then again at university. I saw you live doing a b2b with Makoto around 98 at Nexus in Southampton; one of the best/best dnb nights of my life. I've since seen you play live a number of times and met you a couple of times (YEARS ago). I am good friends with Kolya/Calculon who you know and just come back from San Diego (missed you live by a matter of days I think). I see you're playing in Bristol next month. I'll drag my 43 year old self out I hope! Over half my life listening to the LTJ!

It's so insane to me that I found LTJ Bukem when I was exploring 90s jungle and dnb for the first time a couple years ago and I get sets that he mixed relatively recently that are just still so good. What an absolute legend.
LTJ performing Cosmic Twilight pt 2 at Tipper & Friends 2022 at Spirit of Suwannee was one of the best experiences in music ☮️
I really hope he posts that set soon. I just saw the lineup and am envious that y'all got to experience 2 Bukem sets out there. Also seeing Detox Unit play right before Tipper was a treat to see. I got to see Joe when he was in the trenches and am happy to see him succeed.

Audio treat.. such depth .. audio wise all my Christmas and birthdays have come at once.. 10.05 just tugging the heart strings... Progression sessions moved aside to explain the next phase, growth of DnB to become a whole new era of music...
