Fun fact: jack sparrow was supposed to be a serious character. Johnny just kind of kept acting how he did and after a while everyone didn’t bother trying to stop him.
I feel like the first and most of the second movie really captured the character of being somewhat "serious" but also "lucky/joker" type. The last movie with Jack Sparrow was really really bad as they lost what the character was. A mysteriously good pirate that you can take as a joke and have a laugh at, but when it came down to it, someone that you wouldn't want to cross the wrong way. I wish there was a Jack Sparrow movie with a more dark theme, like almost a horror genre Jack Sparrows dark side if you will.
