    The synthstrom deluge sequencer is so easy to use, I wish the force had a mode like that. Where each lane was dedicated to an instrument and you had a knob to adjust the resolution. This way I could program the hits in relation to each other. I'm currently using my deluge to sequence the force for this reason.

    Could you do one showing how expansion packs work on force, I’ve bought loads for live but moving over to force and like to check my money’s not lost and they will still work ok
    Also I have chord progression in banks of wav files For their various keys, can this be loaded to a pad to loop do you know at all please ??
    Midi chord progression were bought for drag and drop for ableton or logic x

      If you look through the categories or do a search on my channel there should be a video for each of them topics. The most latest is specifically about making custom kits.

    My Force was bugging out but I narrowed it down to a cheap micro Sd reader! I thought it was the force. Good thing, almost thought more of getting a live 2. Overkill

    what's the best way of memory expansion as i dont want to go unscrewing my force so is it micro sd or external usb hard drive.by the way you can update on the old xbox1 but not the new xbox s series.

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před 2 lety +1

      The best way for better storage is getting an SSD, you can run it via the USB port if you’re not bothered by it being self-contained. Whatever you do, don’t save anything to the internal memory, you can end up with problems.

    How would you edit a pitch event in the step sequencer?

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před rokem

      Good question! - Assuming it's a Drum Program; Use the select (or shift+select) to choose the events on Step Seq, then go to Clip > List, look for the highlighted note(s), hold shift and tap Mod Type, then turn the data dial to Tuning - if you now tap value (don't forget to hold shift to not lose selection) you can change pitch. -/+ 10 is a semi-tone.

    In Force Drum step sequencer are there 16 levels for pitch similar to 16 levels for velocity like in MPC live? Thanks, RMS

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před 4 lety

      There’s not 16 levels as such, velocity and pitch is somewhat more sophisticated, which has it’s pros and cons. I wish it had 16 levels velocity though...

      @spesh85 Před 4 lety

      @@nicethings Yeah 16 levels pitch would be cool! Thanks again, RMS

    What is the max. steps / bars per pattern / clip ?

    • @nicethings
      @nicethings  Před 3 lety +1

      For a clip, I think 999 bars. For a STEP SEQ, 64 step resolution. For a STEP SEQ pattern, 4 bars.

      @VTOLKits Před 3 lety

      @@nicethings Thank you for the fast answer, this seems enough steps/bars :-)
