Good lookin set of tongs, like the angle the points are mounted at. All you need now is a clevis or two w/screw in keeper pin to mount tongs to your Boom Pole. Over the years there has been a lot of logs drug out of the woods w/tongs. I have 3 pair small Medium & large tongs that I use when gathering firewood, got them used second hand for a good price. Thanks for the watch. I use TO- 30 hp ferguson tractor in my firewood gathering w/front wheel weights to keep front of tractor on ground for steering when tugging trees.
Thanks for watching and for your comment. I appreciate the info. I found those tongs and Tractor Supply and they have proved to be more than worth the money.
Looks like you need another chain hooked to the drawbar to pull from while you're main chain lifts and holeds the log off the ground that's how I do it works out great log not going all over the place.
The bigger the better! I have a County Line brand, bought it at Tractor Supply. It was fairly cheap but has worked very well. I’ve put it to the test and no problems
Thanks for watching! The boom is rated for 500 lbs on the rear loop and 1000 lbs on the front loop, I have been very pleased with it - I think it has been well worthy the money

Your dog likes big sticks.
I just bought a cheap 3 point attachment for skidding on Amazon. Hopefully it last more than a day. What brand is yours?

Will you be adding an additional set of tongs to skid two logs at once?
Tongs wrapped in bubble wrap? .... What The Heck
ha ha, I think that would be there to protect the paper thin cardboard box, but then again....
Nice video, what is your boom pole rated for?
Thanks
