Convention 2018 of the International Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg

“Orff-Schulwerk with special populations in educational and social contexts” 23rd - 26th July 2018
This documentation presents insights into the international Orff-Schulwerk conference 2018. The International Orff-Schulwerk Forum Salzburg is the central point of a worldwide network that promotes the orientation and impulses of the “Elemental Music and Dance pedagogy”, Orff-Schulwerk. Today there are about 50 Orff-Schulwerk Association in different countries of the world, forming a network for cooperation and the exchange of pedagogical and artistic experiences. Once a year, in July, Orff pedagogues and leaders of Orff societies and associated schools from all over the world meet at the Orff Institute in Salzburg. The international conference deals with topics and developments of an open and holistic music and dance education. Participants present their artistic projects. Experiences are exchanged and discussed in various groups and rounds.
