[SHITTY BROADWAY: IT'S LIKE BROADWAY, BUT WORSE!]
The floorboards of Broadway are graced daily by true triple threats: performers who can kick their face, belt their face off, and act... with their face. They're absolutely incredible. And we are not those people.
We all love musical theatre, but Broadway isn't exactly banging down our doors. So we've created a cabaret show to celebrate what we love about it all in our own unique way. Join us and special guests for an evening of music, comedy, and musical comedy in our [shitty] tribute to the Great White Way!
this has big 'high school drama group with no funding where they only had 4 rehearsals and literally NOBODY wanted to do greatest showman but they weren't allowed to do heathers so they all very reluctantly accepted and fought over the solos despite none of them having the vocal capabilites' energy

i also got spies are forever but owen did become an actor and roped his reluctant spy friends into it but they all got really into it and created their own theatre company vibes despite knowing literally nothing about it

At first I was a little confused. Then I remembered how difficult it is to make out the lyrics on the cast album no matter how much you turn up the volume & figured this is poking fun at that which made it even better. 🥰

Jaime’s outfit/dancing combo is something I can only describe as 'drunk teacher supervising prom'

Mary Kate is the female English teacher who people like too much so she can’t do anything too stupid while dancing or her rep is ruined

The fact that this obviously took so much work for it to feel this sloppy in a comedic way is why I love them. Like, they still have to keep track of the counts when they “forget words,” and know cues for each other for comedic value. It’s amazing.

I love how literally all of these extremely talented and skilled actors/singers came together to make the most intentionally terrible cover known to man for comedy's sake. Icons, the lot of them.

yesterday my friends and i were doing something for someone's birthday. one of the performances was singing (even if most of us can't really sing). none of us knew the lyrics, aside from those parts that anyone who's heard the song knows. this is an accurate representation of what we looked and sounded like.
The mics being short is such a funny element. I love the way the singers play off if it and eachother !
