Thank you for guiding me through this for a Mother’s Day gift! Great advise. I had trouble mixing the blue with the yellow without getting green and you had great tips to avoid that :)
Another wonderful tutorial! Thank you. 😊 The info about avoiding green skies was super helpful. I haven’t tried oils yet (use acrylics) , but I may have to give them a go.
Wow, gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your techniques. I've been trying to paint the ocean and sky for years. I always end up overdoing it and I ruin the painting. You have given me some great techniques that I can apply to my painting. Thank you again. Keep sharing!
Thank you very much for sharing. I started adding skies with oils on my b&w photos and have followed your techniques for a while from some other videos of yours too.
I've only ever painted with watercolour but I love your videos so much that I have tried to follow along using a mix of watercolour and acrylic (depending on what colours I have to match your vidoes). I have enjoyed them so much. Thank you for posting 😁
Thank you Stephen .... I am a rank beginner and using Acrylics. You have given me some great tips on blending and I appreciate your commentary. I have a fantastic sunrise that I want to copy and if it turns out to be reasonable then I will have you to thank. ... Dave from Australia.
Hi Stephen. Your painting is wow. U have such amazing teaching methods. Iv never done oil paintings would love to try. …..any suggestions on how to start.
Thank you Amina...oils can be a little tricky to start with but you will learn very quickly ...check out some of my other tutorials as there are some nice ones there for the beginner...just try to keep it simple..
I wonder why he abandoned that spot where the rising sun was going to go in. I knew he was going to change the scenery when he put that "dimmed" sun much to the left and then 'covered' the white spot. Oh well, artist's privilege. This is my first time to watch Stephen Conway's painting style so I don't know what to expect.
Hello Elvira.. i do agree with you.. to be honest this was one of my older tutorials and i did not like the end result very much.. i was not going to upload it but i thought maybe someone might get some useful tips from it. I may do another tutorial simalar to it shortly.. but thank you very much for watching

Great on the whole, but the sun could have been a little brighter - perhaps with some white, as it looked as though it were dying - sorry!!
