    I have the axis ii precision in 6.5cm it has a 2.5 lb crisp trigger. Its shooting 3/4in groups at 200yrds with hornady American whitetail. We shoot hogs from the bench to keep them out of our fields in texas. I run a riton x7 conquer (i believe)crystal clear glass. Mil dot scope.

      @jackrabbit1379 300yrds . It's dead on. I've pondered cerakoing the barrel and action but worried it may mess with accuracy (jinx) scared to change a thing

    Jack - I have almost the same exact setup and in the middle of pretty much the same upgrades. Was wondering what kind of bolt/handle do you have? Is it a Savage bolt handle? Looks very much like the one on my Savage 300WM

      @@jackrabbit1379 I haven't done the trigger upgrade. Not sure I'm going to do that one...yet anyway. I want to use it a bit more and pull it apart myself. I have used many MCarbo upgrades though. I love their triggers in my Sig pistols. I wasn't crazy about the issue you highlighted in the video. Have you talked to MCarbo about it. A lot of times, they will do redesigns if a customer uncovers a flaw in their products. My 60 power scope just arrived though...can't wait to see how it performs😁! Hopefully at least MOA at long range!

    • @jackrabbit1379
      @jackrabbit1379  Před rokem

      The height gives me what I need to adjust at the longer distances, if I had it any lower I’d be pushing at 1000 yards, this gives me a little more ability to adjust if needed. Shooting any closer than 150 yards I have to aim low to adjust for what I gave up it height.

      @@jackrabbit1379 Ahh okay, all the reviews I've read on scope placement say closest to the barrel is best as long as it doesn't interfere with the bolt action. I just found your channel thru the video on your get home back, and wanted to see what else you got there. I am shocked really to see all the guns you have. Now you are American so you have a different attitude and moral on weapons, other then the rest of the planet. But even then, why on Earth do you need so many guns?!?!? Why waste so much money on all these weapons?!?!?! It is insane! Civilians should not have firearms alltogether IMHO, it is irresponsible and dangerous, and often they will get used and kill other humans, which is unforgiveable. But even if you think that you need it for selfprotection, then why so many? And also so many assaultweapons, automatic weapons, it is truely shocking and insane. Just had to say something about it cuz I am just in shock. You are still a young man, you have no military training probably. It is simply irresponsible. As 'James Bond' once said in one of the movies: carrying a gun also means knowing when NOT to use it', and only experienced professionals are allowed to make such calls. That is why in the entire civilized world civilians are not allowed to own and carry guns!!!
    Maybe you need to check yourself why you are doing this. Do you plan to become another Columbine Shooter?!?!?

      Jason, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to watch my videos and commenting. I just watched yours on your bug out bag. You have a Lotta great ideas gave me some more insight on some things thank you but as far as my other videos go with my firearms I don’t know What everybody sees on the news or hears or whatever in other countries but there are more than 300 million weapons that they know of in this country and millions and millions of people own them. I am 50 years old. I’ve had a lot of training with things I’m not a child. All my kids are grown up And serve this country and they did well because of their exposure to guns firearms so on and so forth what the problem comes down to whether it’s Guns or not is it there is always crime. There is always evil people doing things and criminals getting firearms whether they’re allowed to or not drugs are illegal. We don’t make herion in this country and it’s the biggest epidemic ever. We can’t stop that from coming across and getting in this country. I’m sure that it might not be as many but it’s still unacceptable if people die from firearms in a country that doesn’t have them but the reason why we have firearms is because this country was founded on fighting the biggest tyrannical government at the time, and breaking away from them and then make sure that that never happened again. Our constitution was written to keep the government in check, and the only thing that keeps the government and Check is having a armed civilian population, I don’t wanna turn this into a political platform but most of the problems we have in this country is a cultural problem not a gun problem. if the guns were not used. Trust me hammers, knives, baseball bats, other things would be used and that’s unacceptable also, I would like someday for there to never be killing but we both know that happens everywhere and is never gonna stop Cain killed Abel with a rock. if any of this is coming off the wrong way, I apologize I am not good at expressing myself with words to where it doesn’t seem offensive. Trust me I’m not trying to do that at all if I did like I said, I apologize I think discussion is a great thing for both sides. Now I’m gonna go watch the rest of your videos because I find them informative 👍👍 thanks again

      @@jackrabbit1379 hello mate - I must thank you very much for your response and sharing your thoughts on the issue of firearms. I was a bit sad when I wrote the comment, cuz I felt it could cause a breach between us. I was so enthousiastic over your get home bag and the sincerity of how you shared that, so I did not want to spoil that. The USA was build on genocide of 100 million Native Americans, followed by cruel diaboliuc slavery. Those are the roots of the country you live in. Small addition to what you said about the bases of the USA.
      I did not expect you to be 50 and have grown children. Good to know. It changes perspective.
      I am grateful for your feedback on some of my videos. Means a lot to me. I never got nor get many viewers, and even less comments. I am not commercially oriented, I seek no way to make money, and I have almost no knowledge on how to make videos. My videos are pretty simple even tho I think the contents are valuable and useful. So many thanks!
      I hope some of the ideas in my packs help you to finetune your own packs. We all have heard people say 'there is no good or bad pack', that it is all based on your own needs. And that is true. I try to learn from others, and so I keep watching videos like yours as well and better myself from your knowledge and that fo others. So maybe I can be of some help to others/you as well with my videos.
      I hope we stay in touch, you are a kind man - I appreciate your approach and cander.
      Kind regards, Jason
