Decades ago, when I first started shooting, my first handguns were revolvers. I liked them because they were durable, accurate, and reliable. My first semi-automatics were durable and accurate but they were not as reliable as my revolvers. Recently, when I decided to replace my 9mm and 45acp semi-automatics for the most reliable ones I could find, I purchased HK USP 9mm and HK USP 45acp. I am now confident that I have semi-automatics that are as durable, accurate, and reliable as my 38-special and 357 magnum revolvers.
Great video! As a HK fanboy I already had the HK 45C but I just bought the HK USP COMPACT .45 yesterday! Taking it to the range tomorrow to run a couple of hundred rounds through it. I can't wait!
Have 3 HK's and have love them all. Especially the USP Tactical 45. The trigger is incredible and it is the softest recoiling 45acp I have shot to date. I am having a tough time picking my next 45, HK45c Tactical or if I could track down a decent used Mark 23. Keep up the great work HK.
About to pick up an HK 45 Tact, full size et al. Already got a regular USP full size in .45, but I'm aware that `thar be differences` :-) So, have you had the chance of trying a full size HK Tact? If yes, would you say the trigger is as good as the compact version? I suppose it should, but you never know, hence my question :-) Thanks in advance and may you have a great day sir!
Got a SIG p220 and this is next on my list. Already own the P30 SK as backup and couldn't be happier. If this comes in a V1 LEM I'd really like to consider.
Why was the combination safety/decocker used on this HK45 NOT used for the P30? The dual purpose safety/decocker lever is soo much better than that dumb decocker mounted on the rear of the P30. Why?????

Yall have been doing well, I'm a huge fan and do drop big dollars on your products. I have to say this proprietary Bullshit you keep pulling on mags be it low round count and can't get extended mags (pistols) or the MR762 80 dollars plus for mags that are expensive and hard to find. Also no extended mags for that weapon come on man I know you can't guarantee some of the performance from a 3rd party ok don't fully agree with that but if not get on it. don't bring that oh well if you can't afford it don't buy it. you're not the only one on that bullshit FN if you can see this that 3000 you got from me with that 1 mag shit you're next. rant over...... for now*
Love H&K Brand weapon`s Sniper: msg90, PSG1, Riffle: G3 Know as: AG-3 AG-3F1 and AG-3F2 (Especially since norwegian army(My contry) Used it while back but still uses it, now it`s more hk416 and hk417), G36, all varriant`s of mp5 mp5sd mp5/10 etc MP7 Pistol`s: HK45, MK23 :D i Personally only experience the guns in games and in old RainBowSix3 Raven Shield i uses alott G3 or PSG1 and MK23 :) i Resently tried the MG variant of G3 and funn it was ;D in cqb i use alott MP5/10 or MP5SD :D

I've owned over a dozen German made HK's over the past 30+ years and they've been extremely reliable, accurate and function exceptionally well with all sorts of ammo. This new HK45 has the P marked on the frame and no origin markings on the slide so I've read it's American made. It shoots fine & accurate but the exremely aggraviating thing is the magazines do not drop free. They come out about half way and stay there. Completely scrubbed out the mag well in addition to the mag's themselves. Still happens. Not what I'd expect from HK, never happened with their products before so I'm getting rid of it. Recently saw a CZcams video where the same thing was happening to that shooter too. Big Zero. HK of American and HK of German are two extremely different animals.
Fun Fact: The Maine State Police currently issues the HK45 as the duty sidearm for their state troopers.
