Dry eyes can be a frustrating and uncomfortable condition, but fortunately, there are various ways to manage and alleviate its symptoms. Ensuring proper hydration by drinking plenty of water is essential, as it helps maintain tear production. Incorporating a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish like salmon and supplements such as fish oil, can also support eye health by reducing inflammation and promoting tear secretion. Practicing good eye hygiene, like washing your eyelids gently with warm water and a mild cleanser, can remove any potential irritants. Using over-the-counter artificial tears or lubricating eye drops provides immediate relief by keeping the eyes moist. I have really dry eyes & I use Castor Oil, Hexane free, & cold pressed on my eyelids & it makes all the difference in the world plus it also helps the bags under the eyes!

My optometrist solved my dry eye problem: the tears duct was obstructed & as you recommended also the warm compresses open the duct. Also the eyedrops, without preservatives, seniors

Doctor, my eyes are not dry my eyes stream all the time, and sometimes my eye got so much full of water that my eyes seem to be cross eyed and I have to blink and squeeze my eyes and look up to the ceiling and then it all clears, I have tried drops That the doctor has given me and they are rubbish, but my eyes are sore with the salty tears rolling down my cheeks, people think I’m crying sometimes and I am not so show me what I can do to stop it.
