    I've watched a lot of videos on NDI Bridge to get to grips with the technology. Yours is the first to make sense of it. Thank you - very clear explanation.

    NDI was and is a life changer: it’s free, easy to use and, first of all, professional. Nowadays, I use it on my streams and NDI is now the facto for me: now I can use my iPhones and their cameras as sources. I started live-streaming for my chuch during the first lockdown, and now I’d like to build a business, thanks to this free software. Now there’s no excuse to livestream and, like you said during the podcast, you don’t need to have specialized products

    Excited about trying this with my little podcast. Discord isn't cutting the mustard imo.

    Very exciting… is Rick using NDI for this?

    • @JBANDA
      @JBANDA  Před 2 lety

      Rick has been testing it extensively, but not for this video in particular no. We had another podcast scheduled right before using Teams so we just stayed on. But we plan on integrating Bridge into our workflows for future broadcasts!

    What is the maximum distance of NDI wiring between a PTZ camera and a switcher ?

    • @JBANDA

      With the advent of NDI bridge, the only limiting factor is your network connection, so in that instance, it would be limitless!

    Sorry if my question is stupid : as an host and listener, i just have to do a port forward by myself and i dont need the caller to do it too ? is it ? or do we have to open ports on both sides ? thanks

    • @JBANDA
      @JBANDA  Před rokem

      Not a stupid question at all Pierre! The host is the only one who needs to port forward. So If the person who is hosting currently can't do that, the other one can and then flip from being a joiner (listener) to a host!
