Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Bronco fan here Zach.. sorry man your Vikings played much better than we did.. how we were even in it at the end was unreal. We'll take the win but I want to wish all the Viking fans good luck going forward. 👍
Please don't apologize for a sorry nfl team!!
@@musicdawgthe Broncos have been bad long enough that we are surprised when they win! I still can’t believe they beat KC! As far as that goes I can’t believe they are at 50% wins, that’s the amazing part!
Thank Mattison and Sean Payton's BountyGate 2.0😮
Don’t worry, no apology needed. We lost like 4 Super Bowls so no biggie….
🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the video Millennial Farmer! Keep doing the dog voices!
Becky is a really good editor! Shout-out to Becky.
Your humor is always appreciated. Hope your dad is doing well. Prayers.
I really miss my corn harvest years. Thanks for sharing yours.
Here from Vice Grip Garage. I grew up row crop farming in South Georgia with my dad. I like your content. 👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸👍🇺🇸
Awesome! Thanks for swinging by!
Its been 6 days since this video, going to need another video real soon.
You and the dogs going for a ride never gets old for me Zack. Thanks for sharing. Hope Jim can make it back before the end of harvest.
No, won't work.
Man...would you look 👀 at all those future Fritos Corn Chips...love em wit me samich...keep that 🌽 corn a coming fellas 🤣💯👍✌
My father was a dairy and crop farmer in NJ. The area is not so much farming these days. He passed away in 2008... I would loved to have shown him what you do and others both crop farmers and dairy farmers. A folding corn header is a mechanical miracle!
"That's my other dog imitation...." Oddball.... Kelly's Heroes
Nighttime harvest videos just hit so much harder, love ‘em.
That electric start on Thunder is so sweet.
Most of farming Equipment is awesome engineering. And for Cornheaders, Geringhoff has a 24 Row 75cm Spacing folding Header. Pretty amazing😮
Until something breaks...
⁹
Honestly not sure if there’s a combine on the market that could handle a 24 row header tbh. It’d be interesting to see
@@Beyonder8335there is a guy by me that has a 24 row 22 in head for corn
@Beyonder8335 when we plant on 20 inch spacing we use a 24 row Gehringhoff, our 9250s run it pretty well
It still amazes me that with all the high technology used in modern farming that you are still required to beat on the sides of the grain bin with your hand and climb up the sides to determine how full they are. One would think that surely someone has invented a remote bin measuring system by now.
There is. My father had some installed in all his bins 30 years ago. As it filled up it pushed on a Frisbee like pan with a long stick on it up thru a hole in the roof. It was painted 2 different colors half way thru to see when it was getting very close to the top and stop the auger. There is many different kinds.
Gamma electronics. Easy install. Garage door opener solved. Made in USA! In Woodstock,IL
"Didge you know" I seen what you did there. Lol
Let’s see a pheasant cam view from the cab!
My dad farmed corn and soy beans dairy cows and other crops in Iowa in 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s before moving to Oregon in 1950 to marry my mother. I am hooked on this channel, I don’t know why, but I love it!
Becky needs to do a missing bolt count next harvest
That would be hilarious 😅 I agree!
Good ol Mountain Dew! FFFFFFFTTTT!!
Great way to start my lunch!
Your dogs are living their best life ❤
Those hilarious dogs when riding in the Polarus, behave like humans. They are very attentive while looking out the window in all directions, like they are keeping tabs on the operation !! LOL. TOO Funny 🤣😂 Maybe they are??
Happy blessed THANKSGIVING weekend to all of you . USA🇺🇸🤲🙏✝️
Thank you USA farmers! 🇺🇸
Hey Zach, I was excited to see you teamed up with Derek from Vice Grip for Cleetus' 2.4 Hours of LeMullets race this past weekend. Hope you had a fun time!
That's got good black soil WoW.!!!!!!🤠👍
The whole machine is amazing engineering!! 🙂
Quad Cities in Iowa/Illinois and Mississippi River (Home is Colona, Illinois).... Millennium farmer 😊-- prayers..., Ps 91 and Ephesians 6..., Amen.❤ Happy Thanksgiving! and Holidays!
I can drive tractor 4 u. That’s my favourite work in farming. ❤❤❤
Happy Thanksgiving to all farmers❤😊
If I needed a grain cart driver that boy wouldn't be out somewhere hunting 😮
ZACK are you sure the pulley isn’t moving out off the shaft that could be why the cover had heat marks mate.
It is amazing with the amount of corn that is going through that machine how good it does with getting all the corn off the cob.
Great videos Zach. Keep up the good work. It’s appreciated by a load of us👍
Awesome video Zach. 🚜🚜🚜
You could run a camera through the combine's separator sometime. It would be a different angle. The Welker's did it once.
amazing video Zach. Thank you so much
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Farmer we appreciate you more than you know.
Great video. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼
Try new Ag-1 in suppository form, it gives new meaning to the words” up yours”
I don't know why but the (DEF) Diesel Extraction Face gets me every time!!!
This is truly wholesome CZcams content.
keep up the effort in the videos i appreciate it
Glad things are going better for you.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO THE JOHNSON'S AND EVERYONE ELSE LOVE THE CORN VIDEOS
Great video!
I am glad to see you taking care of your equipment, and it will take care of you !!!
Absolutely love to see new vids, I truly enjoy your content
Nice work Zach
Have a happy Thanksgiving to you,, your family and friends
Those dogs really love you Zach.
Thanks for thinking of your viewers.
You're doing a fine job.
The engineering is amazing.
Another good day. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you guys.
Hi ! Love the videos, and just wanted to drop an idea that Zach could use during his videos. He should do "pov" style video angles sometimes. He would basically strap a GoPro to his head, and that would allow him to work with his 2 hands, and we would have some cool video angle footage to watch !!! It's only an idea, but could maybe be interesting to try out !! Have a nice day (or evening I don't know haha, I'm in France )
Gotta say how proud Zach must be to have his family pick up the slack on the combines when someone's missing !! I know I would certainly be a proud Daddy if it were me !! Just love Zach's forthrightness when he's under pressure - which, fortunately is not too often !! Thanks for showing us "city slickers" what long and late hours are really all about !! Blessings to the entire Johnson family !!
Good job Zac
Love those hounds!
Great video
Happy thanksgiving 😊
Looking like a good MN harvest season, Zack. Thanks for letting have the view from your mobile office. I appreciate it.
You need the new little high torque impact from dewalt total game changer when you are working on stuff like that.
I miss farming. The noise, smells and the hours.
One thing I like about this channel is that when he has a sponsor, he literally doesn't read a script like a robot.
It is hard to believe someone actually uses a product when they stumble over their words while reading whatever the company sent to them.
Dogs are so cute!! 🙂
Good to hear your getting some good yields.
Glad you like the folding header.
Happy Thanksgiving
Awesome
It's lots of hard work
Harvest seems to be going pretty good good job guys getting err done
The match cuts are perfect.
Happy Thanksgiving to the while crew. Keep up the good work that u'all do and always Help out those that are in need.
Thanks for the great vidieos
Might wanna look into WiFi garage door openers, no openers needed just the phone that is always the farmers enemy but amazing as a tool
Have I ever told you how much I enjoy watching that header fold? Just amazing the stuff they come up with
Was told in youth, that when you work on a Sunday, other than for charity purposes, that your work is lost
Pretty smooth running today.
Love your channel
Looked like good fields.
It is amazing how those engineers have developed folding cornheaders, see and spray sprayers, 120 foot spray bars and very close to having nearly autonomous tractors. Thankful that we live in the USA, everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Now you need to get a folding bean header. Those are really neat.
Hello! Another fine video!
Zach you have made my day 😊 thankyou so much I needed it haha 😂
Yea the Engineering is amazing on all the equipment thanks for a sweet video
Thanks for sharing god bless everyone
My Monday is no longer a Moanday. Great video!
Zach and Becky that was great you have the best explanations of any video
Thank you Zach thumbs up by a fellow Minnesota Olmstead county
I can't get over the fact that a combine takes the corn in one end and cleans a whole cob of corn and puts out the back a whole cob thise machines are so cool so many moving parts and there working together so cool
Thanks
The folding corn head is the best invention in the last 100 years. maybe. It sure beats taking the head off, carting it with a truck and putting it back on. It’s like food shopping, put it in the cart, take it out of the cart, put it in a bag, put back in the cart, take it out of the cart, put it in the car. Take it out of the car, bring it in the house, take it out of the bag and put it in the cabinet. It just goes to show you, it’s always something, if it’s not one thing it’s another.
Have a happy Thanksgiving
hey zack for us europeans it's quite common to see folding cutting bars (wheat and corn) since they are very practical for our roads and are perfectly suited to the size of the harvesters
Out of curiosity, how does the reel fold on a bean/wheat header?
@@austinpalmlund5054 it is less common to have a folding cutting bar for beans or wheat but knowing the system either it folds in two in the middle in the direction of length or width (it depends on the manufacturers and lengths) or otherwise in the same way as a folding corn cutter bar if you want to see what it looks like you can mark folding cereal cutter bar
Hiya Zac, really enjoyed your last 3 videos, having your kids helping out is why farming is the best industry to work in . having worked on UK farms so envious of your workshop. Keep them coming
Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That cob of corn was a nice size..., I reckon they should make those headers 'Retractable!!' 😉. Another great videoTeam, I love the size of the machinery you yanks have, and the silos, implement shed... the list goes go 😆, .Cheers from Aussie 🦘🦘👍.
Heilan Coo's! aka Highland Cows, they are like giant puppy dogs!
Zack is the first CZcamsr where I don't skip their sponsor portion- well done. :)
💫😊
