Your chickens are cute. Love the crochet now magazine, used to be subscribed to it years ago. Wanted to get the subscription again but told me I would just get the magazine and not the extras, so at $175.00 for the subscription I said no thanks, I wanted the complete magazine. Go figure. Thank you for sharing your magazine. ❣️❣️❣️❣️

As far as the magazines go== I just love to sit and go through them once in a while. The Irish women made the lace to sell to rich people. This is where lace actually came from. It started during the potato famine. Headed over to watch the chicken tutorial. They are so cute. Love you and see you next time.

I didn't know Nicki had those on her page. Those are so stinkin' cute!! Cozy isn't a thing here that I know of, but what an adorable decoration. She has a basket too, I'll have to look at that too. The birds book is cute. That's not a bad idea, pick an item to do each month from the magazines...or even every other if it's a bigger item.

I have one my mother-in-law made me in yellow, but the body was not round like yours it fit on the egg long ways. I think the verigated black and gray would be so cute. Like a plymouth rock chicken. She didn't have a tail either.

We eat soft boiled eggs in the shell in an egg cup - your chickens would keep the eggs warm until every one gets to the breakfast table. Yes, egg cozies are a thing. Very cute.

Online the KC Element is on sale for $1.99 and I did an order and was able to use a 20% off on top! I love that K+C Element yarn! For knitting it has beautiful stitch definition. I was able to get the red before it sold out online.

Hey! I’m actually the person that started this craze! It was in the late 197Os, and I found a pattern for English egg cosies. The castles get cold, so the English cover their eggs and tea pots to keep them warm during breakfast. Anyway, I thought they were so cute, and I came up with the idea of using plastic eggs so my kids could play with them and they’d be used at Easter. Long story short, I started selling them to friends, family and coworkers…..but only charged 25 cents apiece. Big mistake……they sold as fast as I could make them! I made enough money to buy my son a kick and go bike….at 25 cents. That’s probably around 350-400 of them! It burned me out so much that it was several years before I picked up a crochet hook again. Sadly, I lost the pattern. So good to see them again! 🥰❣️🥰

In uk we have chocolate crème eggs and use the egg cosies for these to give as Easter gifts. Then they get used to hide mini treasures in.

The egg covers were meant to keep the boiled egg warm while it was taken to the table. Usually the egg was put into a egg cup then covered
