Hugo 3D and Star Trek 2009 remake has a slip.. also the current 4k's are like the DVD superbit editions.. the biggest upgrade out of the first batch from the previous releases are Glory, Ghostbusters and Spiderman

I have the DVD of The Secret of NIMH, it is a pretty good transfer. If you enjoyed Wrath of Khan I would recommend The Voyage Home, The Undiscovered Country and First Contact are the best Trek films. The others are all good in my opinion but of lesser quality. The Motion Picture is overlong, The Final Frontier is really cheesy as they search for God.

I have a double feature DVD of that and the sequel which is shit, but it was cheaper to get that on Amazon than just buying the first one by itself. The same thing happened when I bought All Dogs Go To Heaven. It was cheaper to get the double feature set with the crappy sequel than it was to get the first one by itself. I was thinking how I would go about choosing the Good Will DVDs when you explained how Dennis was doing it - ah, exactly the same as me, ha, sad actually! OH no "Great Escape' on BR, no way, finally! I'm starting to think some companies are using old tape transfers to get titles out on BR fast, pity. Must get T.Driver, looks superb. PUN COUNT 4. (p.s. did you get my PM about DC Talk?)

Holy moly I just watched all of this! That 4K thing really angers me! Since they released Taxi Driver as one of the new 4k Mastered" editions... & you know what?.. I can see how it would make a difference after watching (the one in that digibook that I hid & yes ended up getting :]).. but who cares! Still looks awesome & sometimes movies that old should be seen the way people in the 70's watched it! Its a different feel you get when you see the grain & the film scratches. I will buy Terminator!
first time viewer, great video - i wish we had this sort of offer in the uk, because id get shot of pretty much every dvd i have to get money off blurays. 43 bucks for hugo 3d? did they really ever sell it for that much? its £6 here (roughly 9 dollars) and has been for a while. one of the cheapest 3d blurays around but a great film. and im with you on mean girls - not seen it since it came out but it was a good movie and linsday was hotter than july in it. i want basil the great mouse too.
