Herbert is elite. No need for saving. Dude would drive the team down the field for the lead then the defense blows it, or 2 min drive and O-Line falls apart, or having no run game and constantly being in 3rd and long, or Staley not taking the FG then lose by 2 pts, etc. They find a way to lose. Harbaugh will fix all that. Harbaugh will elevate the average players. Harbaugh is exactly what the Chargers need.
Sounds like Buffalo haha
Dang Wyoming are the chargers and bills of the college world too
@@silentazn89 elaborate
So close yet so far almost there but not quite there championship wise don't get me wrong my home state in the Western Athletic Conference too until they moved
@@silentazn89 yuh sucks lol always wanting the fairytale story teams to win
Stability for Herbert, he hasn't worked in the same offense for more than 2 years since high school! Think about that. Herbert will reach his full potential now.
Harbaugh did wonders for Alex Smith, who never had consistency.
I'm looking forward to what he can do for Herbert.
That’s exactly what Carr had to deal with.
Hmm Just like Baker
Thank God
Save his career? I thought he was doing pretty good lol
He’s good but he hasn’t been winning
Maybe they mean he won’t have to be flawless every game to get the win lol
He’s on pace to just be Matt Stafford 2.0, getting a real coach could change that
Saved his career from the Chargers ownership giving him cheap coaches still tryna figure out how to build a roster, a gameplan with contingencies, developing the players you draft… you know, the small stuff
He’s good but he can be great
the chargers needed either Pete Carroll, or Jim Harbough. As a fan of football, they needed one of these two for success, and importantly culture imo. Happy for them.
Naw Sneaky Pete is done
Pete is going on 74 years old, I don't know why he’s being talked about in the same breath as Harbaugh, who’s only 60.
@@PatrickMHoey Well ya, but would you know he is 74 years old if you didnt have to double check his age? 100% doesnt act like a dude mid 70s
big on the culture part, it has brought chargers fan closer already. lfg ⚡️
University of San Diego, not San Diego State…USD an even lesser program that he brought a winning culture to. Chargers will do great things
Herbert was great. not his fault his receivers got hurt. he played through injury and the defense could not stop anything
Not to mention the O line falls apart every 2 minute drill with the game on the line, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve watched that happen
Jim is a winner he’s won everywhere he’s been. Chargers have been underachieving team for a couple years now I expect to be a threat in the AFC now.
A couple?
Couple of years!? You must not be a fan. This has been a franchise that has been plagued with a lack of identity and culture since inception. For the first time in 45 years of my life we actually have a legit leader who can create a wining culture and empower this team to have a true identity ….FINALLY!!!
@@KarloSalgado I've been a fan since 79', we have had some great coaches and teams. Don Coryell, Schottenheimer. Hell, Bobby Ross took us to our only Superbowl, but we don't talk about the outcome!!😂 I will never not be a chargers fan, but yes, they pretty much been one of the laughing stocks. I mean, when teams screw up really bad, they say they got Chargered. But it's all good. BOLTS 4 EVER!!!!!
Maybe when Andie retires
Dude I've been a fan since I was 7-8 years old I am now 30 we have have always had great talent but just not ever been able to win it all
Herbert has 14 come from behind wins since 2020…with a crappy defense.
I’m a Raider fan 4L and I’m happy for the bolts, as long as the queefs ain’t in the play offs every year.
Aye!!! Agreed!! Hope AP rights the ship for you guys as well!!!💪💪💪
Herbert is elite as they come. Give him a top 10 scoring defense and watch how many games they win
Herbert isn't the issue. They need an O-line and help on defense.
I believe he can make the Chargers stop Chargering games away
What a clickbait headline, Herbert does not need resurrection. Dude is top 5 already. Those wins are coming
Imagine the Chargers record the past couple years if the defense just stopped 1 TD per game. Crazy.
I mean he has had the ball at the end of the game with an opportunity to win at end of game and … uhmmm choked it away….
Do you know what resurrection means?
@@TheKaoticivorywhy are you using a one year sample size of 4 years to make your argument 🙃🤡
@@joshlugo5629 I was trying to be nice and use just 1 yr sample size tbh Herbert hasn’t been great since he lose the Black coach he had can’t remember his name… but they fired him after him and herb went to playoffs and hired this guy to lift herb up but tbh he been stinking up the joint with top gear talents around him….
When Pat says Chaaaammmmpionship ahah
Save Justin’s career??? What the H are you talking about. Justin’s careers is not in jeopardy.
Justin herbert would have a great career with or without Harbaugh. What Harbaugh will do is bring Justin herbert back to his rookie season level and turn the defense into a monster force with an attitude. Something that has always been missing. Props to spanos for getting it done. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️🏆🏆🏆🏆
Can you just imagine what Jim Harbaugh could've done with Philip Rivers? Wow!!! I really hope things come together with Herbert!
Plz not shefter
Love It Pat ThePatMcafeeShow Bro Let's Gooooooooo.
That Bowl game with Stanford vs Oklahoma State when both teams were BALLING was one of the best bowl games Ive ever seen and Stanford was one of the worst teams in NCAA when he took over. And he also led University of San Diego to 2 Pioneer League Championships. And finally, hes a former Raiders coach from that 2002 season helping Rich Gannon win MVP and an AFC title.
So stoked we got an actual coach! Haven’t had one since Marty. ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Dude brought Kapernick to the superbowl
harbaugh will turn herbie into herbie: fully loaded
Antonio Pierce is in the kennel with the big dogs
The Chargers have lost the most one score games in the league since 1970 and the last three years especially. If Herbert didn’t have a bottom five run game and bottom five defense we’d be in the playoffs often. Simple as that.
I wouldn’t say he needs his career saved. He could play like crap this year and there would be teams dying to trade for him.
As a Charger fan why did they draft
1st round WR Q.J and not play untill end of season horrible wasted pick.
Bye Bye Staley n Hello Harbaugh!
That’s not true Q.J was on the field through out the season he just didn’t get as many reps and when he did he did with them so he was basically invisible. Hence, the reason you’re under the impression that the Chargers did not put their first round pick on the field because that’s just not true he was on the field he just was not performing there’s a big difference.
Big props for the Donnie Baker shout out Pat!! R.I.P RON SEXTON!!!
They have the most wide variety of outcomes of any team I think. First or last is possible
It's going to take a couple years to be a superbowl contender but they should atleast be respectable
Thank you! Go Bolts!⚡️
San Diego is going to reign hell
Charges often have had lots of talent but never have they had a tough head coach that wins. 2 point losses are over. Hello AFC West 😵💫
Never? Please look up Don Coryell, Bobby Ross, and Marty Schottenheimer.
I was born a Chargers fan... only Bobby Ross coach took bolts to the Super Bowl and we got beaten up by very good 49ers team. Marty was good in the regular season but got destroyed in the playoffs. The Harboughs win in the post season
Harbaugh was at University of San Diego, not San Diego State.
Thank you Chicago for making zero attempts trying to hire him.
Gave respect to Donnie Baker 👏
I feel like the future of this team really hinges around the success of this upcoming draft. Almost all of the skill players on offense are nearing the end of their careers, the line lost a couple major pieces, the defense also has a number of key players who are either on the verge of leaving or who are unreliable. The team doesn’t currently have a ton of young guys who can take the reigns from the vets, and the team is way over the cap for next year currently so signing any good free agents is unlikely
If the front office fumbles this draft, its gonna be rough for the Chargers. I’m sure Harbaugh can coach them up to be decent, but at a certain point without the right personnel you’re going to run into a brick wall
The problem with the Chargers is the organisation opposed to anything else. Hopefully Jim can turn things around for them.
Good ol' Bruce and Linda.
"he is in the Colts Ring of Honor I think he played four games" 😂
The JH plus JH connection should be great!
Aailiyah had a great song that actually narrates jimbo hairballs career!! Back, back, back and forth. Burn all the bridges and walk out the door. It was a big hit for hairball when he sung it 😂😂😂
Harbaugh gonna bring back Vanilla Dickerson out of Justin Herbert can’t wait
Chargers have a better chance going to the Super Bowl with Harbaugh than the Raiders with Antonio Pierce.
Herbert doesn’t need saving. Our defense needs saving 😂
I'm a huge chargers fan! I couldn't be any more ecstatic about this move. I thought Brandon Staley was a horrible hire and I kind of stopped watching the Chargers after they did not fire him when they blew that lead against the Jacksonville Jaguars! The Chargers are back and they are legitimate now!! it's nice to see the Spanos family spend money for a change
Bolt up ⚡️
Pat Mcafee just shouted out Donnie Baker. My dude!
Tf needa be resurrected
There will be roster restrictions. They are paying the max amount at qb. You have to consider that kind of money to one player no matter how deserving does effect roster construction. Statistically thats gotta mean 6-10 players out producing their salaries
they are brothers but they look like twins 😂 go ravens
Wow, that Donnie Baker reference made me like Pat MaCafee more
Harbaugh is a winner...he'll make the chargers relevant...turned the niners around big-time...a very good coach 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Longtime disappointed Chargers fan...wish they stayed in SD but oh well...looking forward to seeing the upcoming success ❤❤❤❤
WTF! San Diego State? Wrong, Harbaugh was HC at the University of San Diego, the Torreros not the Aztecs! Save Herbert's career, what a joke, wake the eff up!
Painting the narrative of saving Herbert's career by Harborough is all part of the script for the super bowl next year when we win it all
Gonna be odd seeing Chargers punt inside they own 35 on 4th & 4….
now get Derrick Henry please? Would be perfect for a Harbaugh team.
But what does Merrianne Do think? She must be pumped
Harbaugh went to a SB with a 49ers team that hated his guts. Imagine what he can do with a good QB, good organization (they aren't as hopeless as the cowboys, eagles, panthers, falcons, titans)
The team was with him every step of the way. Baalke hated him though.
The Chargers aren’t at all a good organization, but otherwise everything else makes sense.
This old fallacy that the Chargers don't spend should be retired. Since they came to LA, they have built a new $250M practice facility, paid for the highest paid defense in the NFL (which performed as a bottom 2 defense), and paid their QB (biggest contract ever at the time).
Its going downnnnn Playah
⚡⚡ ⚡
Save or resurrect…?? 😂🤦🏻♂️
Welcome to the AFC WEST!
Ahaha there’s nothing to save, he’s going ok 😅😂😂
ALL IN is going to be amazing!!
The tears are real. LFG bolt fam
He played in San Diego, not LA
Maybe itll get the defense to get better and o line
University of San Diego not San Diego State but some might say it was harder cause nobody’s knows about USD
How many of his players from Michigan will he draft?
Did CZcams change their adds I feel like I’m getting more
Why does everyone say he coaches at San Diego State when he didn't? he coached at UCSD and he killed it
San Diego, not state
University of San Diego, not SDSU
I think Harbaugh will struggle the first year or two with the Chiefs, up and coming raiders, and Wilson-less Payton lead Broncos but boy, give a few offseasons to Harbaugh to get the talent he wants around Herbert and that division is going to be an absolute bloodbath everyyear and will be probably putting a team in the final four every year
That's what I've been saying. If they can improve and win 8 or 9 games next year that would be solid. TThe goal is to make the superbowl in 2027 at their home field.
Lost (7) seven games by 3 points or less last season. Harbaugh will correct that immediately. ⚡⚡⚡
Save? What a weird way to put that lmao. He’s done fantastic. Will he able to give him ample support as a good coach does? Hopefully
The only thing am worried about with Herbert is he has had to push through many injuries every year, I don’t think his line can protect him.
He coached at USD not SDSU.
State Law! RIP donny!
Herbert has absolutely zero excuses to not find a way to win now. The team has more than enough talent to be competitive, especially if herbert is as good as people say he is
what talent
Please name the talent besides 4 or 5 players😐
@@DominicRogers-gs1fm if you think the chargers have "4 or 5" talented players, then you can make that argument for almost every nfl team. Keenan Allen, Mike Willians, Slater, Everett, Linsley, Ekeler, Palmer, Derwin, Asante, Bosa, Mack, etc, are all talented players. Yes there were a lot of injuries this year, but if Herbert was truly elite, this team should have been better in recent years
@@claysimonsen7532 chargers for the past few years have had a top 5 worst defense, top 5 worst run game, and top 5 worst head coach. No elite qb in this league deals with all 3 of those, which are very crucial if a qb wants to succeed. Name another elite qb that has to deal with this…
@@claysimonsen7532 chargers have had a very good offense for the past few years, they’re just constantly playing keep up because of their historically bad defense, not to mention no run game. All those talented defensive players don’t matter if they’re still gonna have one of the worse defenses in the league. If you don’t watch charger football just say that lmao
Lanning will take Harbs place as the GOAT in CF...
I’d rather go to San Diego versus Michigan anyday. Haha
Jim has won everywhere he goes and that is exactly the type of coach Chargers and Herbert need.
This team was just missing one catalyst, and it was a coach…now we have a future hof coach…bolt up⚡️⚡️ AFC’s going to be interesting next year
Thank you Raiders for the blowout. We'll pay you back next year 🎉😂😅
I hope he can do a great job and being the Chargers first Lombardi in
He didn't coach at SDSU. He coached at USD.
He has what it takes. He's a smart coach and a much better one than Staley. Maybe now, Herbert can finally cook and not be a QB with question marks
USD dude, not SDSU. Don't disrespect San Diego.
If Herbert’s career ended tomorrow he’s financially set for life. So he’s fine
Herbie under Coach Hardball we might make it to a Superbowl finally!
Chargers will surprise us all by sneaking into the postseason with this brand new era!
To lose in the first round to a better team !
In heartbreaking fashion
11-12 wins in my opinion
@@mrbesser177
That was the narrative with the Lions before they got the right coach, now they’re playing for the NFC Championship this weekend.
@@RolfeSenpai the lions don’t hv to play pm15 2 a season
Donnie Baker is a legend
Has he sold that boat yet?
UCSD bro! That's where the SMART people go! But I like me some Aztecs!! Just whisperin'
No!
Herbert about to win rings. Putting money down every year for him to win mvp. I’ll beat Vegas.
I feel like Herbert was gonna be the new Matt Stafford. I think Harbaugh is a game changer
As a chiefs fan I'm not happy about this
3:04 Its University of San Diego (USD). It's confusing, there are 3 universities with similar names -
San Diego State University [SDSU] (Public CSU System),
University of California, San Diego [UCSD] (Public UC System)
University of San Diego [USD] (Private).
I think people keeping thinking SDSU because historically they have had the larger college sports programs, especially basketball & football. UCSD doesn't even have a football team. I am SDSU class of '07.
Guys it's just a hook to get you in... Herbert's the superman of football. Agree to disagree 👍
It takes more than 1 player to win a Super Bowl…but you aren’t winning a Super Bowl unless you have that 1 player
