A kid from my highschool was dumb as rocks but he always did his homework. He got into MIT. He wasn't a genius at all.
I know I'm far from genius but when we went to middle and highschool, I created a company, sold it 5 years later while we were in freshman year of college. I then joined the mitary because I got bored of how success just came to easily. Now 4 years later, I got bored, I'm going back to finish a degree and he's working in industry. I'd say I've had much more success than he has and he went to a prestigious school. Goes to show that if you want to get into a top school, all you gotta do is your homework.
He did all his homework and aced exams.
I didn't do any homework, skipped classes, built my first company, but aced exams. People like him now work for me, sooooooooo lmaoooooo

Also, Harvard classes are no joke. It is really hard to study here, especially if you are a STEM major. Last semester I took classes that had 10 hour per day homework. We have a giant network of notable alumni and the research opportunities, from international researching to using the most advanced tech, is simply unmatched. Also the extreme admission process makes it so that you learn in an environment with only geniuses around you. When I was in high school people slept during class and never asked question, but here at Princeton prodigies are everywhere and dominate the classrooms. I'd also like to compare one thing... I planned to enroll in Arizona State University which is a public uni with a massive undergrad population, and they only start teaching Calculus in MAT 267. But at Princeton Calculus starts at MAT 103! Also because of how unfathomably rich the Ivy League schools are, chances are you will NEVER need loans or run into any student debt. But he addressed that too. He said "give it 50 years", there you go! Great students give great results, which inturn attracts more great students and more investments and more attention. That, with time makes the university/college better and better.
So it's like if almost everyone allowed to attend the university is well above average and good in studies and co curriculum, the result will in turn be extraordinary.
