Thanks for the wonderful video. When I was a kid, I spent summers at my grandfather's farm. He had several very large cherry trees, and we'd pick them in the 110 F degree summer heat of the Sacramento Valley. I still recall the wonderful earthy-sweet smell of the tree, full of fruit. My grandfather always took the ladder job to pick the top of the tree, my uncle got the middle, and I got the bottom branches. I think it took at least an hour for us to pick a single tree; so the mechanical solution in this video made me chuckle (it picked the tree in about 10 seconds). Thanks for jogging a very fond memory. Oh yes: one time I ate too many cherries. I think every kid probably has done that. The cherries taste great, but you have to be sure you have a straight line to the bathroom. Perfect fix for irregularity.

I just cant believe how they have access to just such a large variety of fruits , trees and plants. Feels like they live in paradise. Fresh produce right on their door step , surrounded by nature and enjoyed together in a close knit family and community! All the money in the world cant buy what they have.

Are most cherries cleaned/sanitized such that people at home really don't need to wash them?

Unfortunately most fruit is engineered to look good and has no taste…..
