About the Channel:
My goal is to explain Go (Weiqi, Baduk) properly by focusing on the reasoning behind individual moves, not just sequences. After all, every turn is a totally new whole-board tsumego! These videos will give you the confidence and frameworks to navigate unique situations yourself!
Understand, don't memorize! You can't play real Baduk without fresh, innovative thinking! If you're busy trying to remember "which move is joseki" it'll just end up wrong for the unique board situation anyway! You have to judge the needs of the board yourself, be wrong, and improve!

I stumbled upon your channel a while ago and I'm amazed by how good your content is ! The explanations are clear, detailed and easy to understand even for kyu players. Thank you so much for sharing this !
Thank you very much for the nice comment :)
Definitely interested in the extra variations!
This is literally the best format for Go tutorials that I've seen; this is to Go what Michael Pavlovich is to Z-Brush, or Andrew Kramer is to After Effects! No waffle, concise focus on a specific topic. True, it's on the brisk side - but I far prefer that to someone dawdling. It's not like anyone would absorb it in one sitting anyway, no matter how slowly it were explained - one can always rewatch; easy to navigate as you've taken time to create chapters. Double thumbs up.
Glad you enjoyed it! I will definitely make more like this (recent videos have been based on Twitch stream footage, but even then I can still recreate this format in that sort of context). I've taken note of the slightly too fast pace/edits, it's been mentioned by others as well. Cheers!
Wow, your content is astonishingly good. Not a second wasted. Full sequences played out so the explanation is clear. Rationale given around why something is good for one side and bad for the other. Analysis of tesuji latent in the sequence... and more. All in 12 minutes! Everything time stamped, great video and audio quality. Just astonishing.
Looking at your Patreon, it is incredibly well thought out and operates like an online go dojo and is affordable. Signing up for your Patreon right now.
Wow, thank you so much for the positive feedback! That's very motivating, glad you got value out of the video! Welcome to the Patreon as well!
You kinda hear, that the Sir speaking, knows what he talks about. Great instruction video, Keep going, god bless
This is super clear and useful but a tad fast in presentation. Rather manic! But that is a trivial aspect. The teaching is great.
Duly noted :) Thanks!
You’re a fantastic teacher. Please keep the lessons coming, sir.
Thanks! I'm leaning into CZcams more than before starting this month and I'm already 3 videos ahead pre-wise, so...videos incoming!
GREAT VIDEO THANKS A LOT!
Awesome! Thank you for this really helpful!
Thanks for the feedback, glad I can help! More soon.
Thanks, great video!
Awesome video! I will have to watch it many many times though. So much information! Only a small mistake at 10:23 you say "atari from below" but mean from "above".
Oh good catch! Thanks
thanks sir
Woah, this is a really good video! Not just interesting content, but really nice audio and editing!
"stay safe, keep sente..."!!!! That's an awesome ending. I'd definitely love to see a follow up video. I'll be sharing this one with my club during our next lecture!
@Devin Fraze Wow, thanks Devin! :D Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing video Ben. As a low dan player who is trying to solidify fundamentals, the pace is really good for me.
Thanks for letting me know! =)

Thanks guys! Stay safe and keep sente!
great video!
I always had trouble invading.. this is very helpful! Keep it up!
Thanks! Glad to help :)
Great video! For me the editing could be a bit less aggressive: you sometimes cut down a lot on the little pause between words or sequences which makes the video shorter but also really fast! Too fast for me sometimes. But others say they've liked the editing so I guess it depends from person to person. Maybe player strength has to do with it. In any case I loved the summary at the end and look forward to the follow up.
Thanks for the feedback! =)
yes, I'm planning to leave pauses a bit more for the next videos and dial the pace back just a tad :)
