I’m a bit behind, but I have an idea for the last car on the train. Walt Disney dedicated the last car on one of the trains on the Disneyland Railroad to his wife, Lillian Disney. He affectionately named it the “Lilly Bell” and it was decorated with her in mind. That being said, I think the caboose should be named the “Jellie Bell” in honor of Jellie. 🐈 🚂

I was hoping the lighting update would have helped but … nope.
I use a bucket of lava to clear some mobs out & light it up from safety before moving in to torch the place. But I think scar just likes the thrill.

Turtle fact check: sea turtles as shown in minecraft probably would have the bite force to bite off a finger, however sea turtles are very docile creatures and thus would have no reason to want to bite a finger off, unless you really were getting on their nerves
Freshwater turtles, on the other hand, are psychopaths. There was a spate of dogs (yes, dogs) being attacked by pet turtles in outdoor ponds in the UK after the first TMNT phase. Having had several turtles as pets I can attest they WILL attack. 😂
And be careful of snapping turtles, they’re aggressive and fast
Afaik, it's surprisingly easy to bite off a finger, pretty sure humans can bite fingers off too, I've been told it's like the strength required to bite a carrot lol
the trick to changing skins so quickly is to have the launcher open on your skin tabs in the background, tab out to switch skins, and then you simply relog. changes to your skin apply each time you join or leave a world, so if you set your skin to something else while already in a world/server, you only need to exit the the world/server and join again to switch

Scar, the interior was immediately recognizable as Imperial architecture, and I think you did a wonderful job. The reflective floors were rather inspired as well and really sold the build. Thanks for bringing your nerdiness to your videos, it's really enjoyable to hear you talk about Star Wars.

Scar, Scar, listen, you _have_ to dress up drowned zombies in white leather armor so that you can have stormtroopers roaming about the Death Star! Bonus points if you can get custom mob textures so that you can do fun things like reskin a cow/sheep into a gonk droid (with gonk sounds instead of their moo/baah!), dogs as imperial astromech droids, and maybe some ocelots as mouse droids!
Iirc there’s a story in Star Wars Legends where a stormtrooper base gets infected with a zombie plague-
He could even sell Star Wars characters because of that permit he got.

-Docm77, upon discovering Scar shovelled an entire desert worth of sand.
Scar, you can use lava buckets from above to rid the underside of the death star of mobs. It's effective, and it's safe... so as long as you don't hop in yourself.
He could have the hermits light up the space, 1 section gets them a half stack of sand or gravel. That thing would be mob proof in no time! Even if they used pressure plates or buttons.
I also think Lava is the way!

For the sand destroying room, please make it the Trash Compactor. Just have a moving piston door cover the room, and use lava to destroy the items.
As for mob-proofing, if the death star isn't flamable, you can use lava buckets to kill the mobs, before going in and adding torches.
I am endlessly delighted that even when Scar's decimating sand and gravel biomes, he makes sure to leave them looking decent instead of a higgledy-piggledy mess.

At first glance I thought that effect was so cool. I remember seeing someone's build that had the entire room flipped to look like a mirror reflection on the floor, but I think this looks way cooler. The way that the reflection only goes down a few blocks really sells the idea it's a polished imperial floor, and makes me really want to try building something that uses that effect

Sandstone, it’s actually sand paced together so there is no stone, it’s thick sand so technically it’s scars because…yes
Sand is really just a classification for the size of any grains of rock, so once the individual sand grains are compacted together it is no longer considered sand

Scar, you having fun is the best thing! I'm not sure I'd want a whole season of just Star Wars, but you building this and enjoying it for a couple of episodes and seeing how happy it makes you? Totally worth it!
For the blinking crafters, I would recommend looking into infinite redstone loops. Observers are the easiest way, but they don't give you any control. With a loop, you could experiment with controlling not just how often they blink, but could try hooking multiple lights up to the same loop, getting them to all blink at (almost) the same time (when using just repeaters, there will always be some delay. But if that ruins the immersion, you can also look into instant repeater designs) (Or, you can purposefully cause them to light up one after the other, if that fits the design better)
One last tip: Unlike the redstone blocks I see you using now, only one of the crafters would need to be connected to a redstone line. Top one or bottom one, doesn't matter, both should light up.
Here’s an idea:
Have a daylight sensor/clock hidden away somewhere that’s linked up to custom music discs which occasionally play a mouse droid sound or hanger alarm in the background in the Death Star - similar to what you did in Scarland! It would create so much immersion!

no one's mentioned this, but i love how scar takes the time to terraform the land whenever he goes out to grab large chunks of sand or whatever. it's nice to see a smooth rolling landscape instead of a giant square hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere :]

For the zoo, a potential name could be ‘scarfari park’ or something like that
It's so nice to finally see someone not pre-hardening concrete one block at a time, but instead placing the powder where it will go and then adding water.
Impulse made the crafting table lights flash in his power station using an observer loop, he would probably be glad to help you figure out if you want it to flash differently
In my mind Etho can sell anything that can be crafted from stone, stone brick, cracked brick, etc.
Scar would be sole sandstone because it is crafted from sand.
I’m pretty sure Grian is selling red sandstone with the red sand permit.

To make the crafters on the walls blink, you'll have to set up a reasonably slow redstone clock (etho hopper clock probably). Just one thing, you might want to test blinking crafters in a creative world because I think they make noises when they try (and fail) to craft something.
I like that Scar seems to make the terrain still look natural after mining on the surface.
The snail locations in the paintings, it is just the blue snail.

Hey Scar, you could pour some lava down into the bottom of the death star. It'll light up the area and kill off the mobs. Don't forget to be careful though!

I do hope that the glass district will build in Scar's desert under the death star. Blasting all that sand with such a powerful and lazer emitting a lot of heat sure would create a glass layer.
When I first heard of Minecraft, the first place my imagination went was to build a 1:1 scale Imperial Star Destroyer. With a complete interior. A decade or so later, the thought still nags at me every now and again.
To craft Sandstone, you require sand. It thus should be included in Scar's Permit

Scar, since the Death Star is essentially a giant hollow sphere, you could make a hole in the very bottom and put water all around the perimeter, thereby flushing the rebels out
