As someone who does 3D character modelling as a hobby, there are moments where I feel convinced that a drastic change in a character's face will improve it. Then I come back later and go "Oh that's awful! Why did I do that?" This feels like the IRL version of that, with the primary difference being you can't just reload an earlier draft of your body.

I think body dysmorphia is a serious mental issue that should be taken seriously and acts of aesthetic surgery shouldn't be encouraged. Whether you think she used to be better looking before or is better looking now, it's your opinion, what is certain though is that she lost so many facial expressions. I don't see her acting, because there's not much of it.

I've never heard of this controversy before, but I think it's fine for people on the internet to share with each other that they don't like how someone looks after plastic surgery.
That shit looks terrible more often than not, and while I wouldn't advocate actively or directly communicating with her about it, whether IRL or online. And I definitely wouldn't advocate bullying her or anything directly. I'm not really sure if people on the internet sharing amongst themselves that they think someone looks ugly should be considered the same as telling the person themself
