Remove the name of the countries and it's flag, and compete the artists regardless which country she lives then I WOULD PROBABLY HALF BELIEVE that it is not his intention.

Indonesia has various voices and music ranging from jazz, indie, R&B, Pop, traditional music in the form of Dangdut, Malay, and Indonesian, although there are many singers who have high voices but the people are not interested in songs that are too high-pitched for today when Indonesia used to be really like songs with a lot of high notes but nowadays Indonesian people are not interested, for now many people prefer easy listening songs

I love watching reaction of ph singers or watching them singing on radio 107.5, and ph singers are amazing especially morisette, she is my fav among others (i even know her song akin ka nalang), but watching this reaction makes me sad in a way that lyodra just debuted her career and just 16 six years old, singing o holy night at that time but being compared to morisette who is more experience than lyodra. Lyodra is not a diva yet, but me as a normal person (not a singer) i still think she is amazing and could be more good than this in the future. I know katrina as well more than i know keke even she's from indonesia, i just heard her name, but she is also amazing. Ovela i knew u do a reaction alot of ph singers, but please before u react to a comparison video, please do a search of other singers performance before. Ethnically they are both identical. That said Filipinos have the edge on being more acculturated to the english language. Tagalog also sounds more melodic than Bahasa Indonesia. And Imelda Marco's made a hard push to promote the arts including music for 20 years while her husband was in power.
If I may give you an Indonesian view on this..
What makes Bahasa Indonesia sounds less melodic is because the language is phonetically precised. The language is *taught* . it's not a mother tongue for most Indonesians, people here grew up learning the language in schools. Malay language (the origin of Bahasa Indonesia) sounds melodic.
Bahasa Indonesia is the second language of most Indonesians, but the country has the biggest number of trilingual people in the world. They speak their ethnic language, Indonesian, and English, so, it's not like we don't use English at all in everyday basis.. we sometimes do. Please don't make assumption based on this video only.
