I certainly haven't changed my mind. It's still a gacha, which comes with the typical limitations that restrict access to content in various ways, making it bad. On top of that, the game's censorship is nothing short of painful, so I'd honestly prefer this game remained in West Taiwan.

I'm a huge persona fan so I decided to try it out and man it was really good! I can't wait for the global release of the game. I used a korean to english mod so i can actually understand what they are saying. The combat is fun , the animations look great, the waifus are hot and especially the music is fantastic. Shoutouts to Lyn for providing her vocals for new songs in the OST she is amazing!
Bring back. Golden Axe, Kid Chamelon, Ristar, Gunstar Heroes, Vector Man, Valis, Rival Schools. Its alot of games they should bring back.

There are a lot of people thinking that gacha = bad game. When gacha is just another category for videogames. There are good, bad, great ones and the worse ones just like everything. To me is time to play persona 5 royal to be prepared for the global of phantom x.

Well, gacha does = bad. There will always be aspects to any gacha that are deliberately designed to be frustrating so people pay for gambling and grinding. The gacha design is the part that makes a game bad.
@@KazeMemaryu I mean same can be said of f2p games like Diablo immortals and that game cost more than even 7 gacha game's combined or any f2p MMORPG for that matter because that what happens when you play a free game so don't talk like it's only gacha when diablo immortals is far worse than any gacha game in existence
@@KazeMemaryu And here is one of that people I mentioned. No, gacha is just another kind of game. You have the Freedom to spend whatever you want. I'm playing gacha games for 8 years and I have spending much more on regular games than on gacha games. If it's not for you because you have gambling problems then it's your problem. It's like saying the Wine is bad because it has alcohol.
@@XeqtrM1 I never said that gachas are the only bad thing out there. But gachas have a deliberate design philosophy to be bad, otherwise people would just enjoy it without paying a penny.

Well at least based on leak from midori (atlus game project leaker) P5X are planned to be released globally
as someone who is casually playing the korean version, I can confirm the game is quite a treat, cash currency for f2p is fair, as I can't actually cash in it, I haven't really felt a real need for it either. Story telling feels good, tons of cutscenes, and overall gameplay loop keeps pretty faithful to persona. I await an english version, but incase it doesn't happen, I am enjoying the korean one for now.

Why wouldn't it be good though? Some weird gacha system announced? All I've seen from it was great and it has that signature Persona aesthetic + new songs from the same composer and singer. Win-win!

@@Stixxy I would say Han Youyou, the elf with the bow and the white haired fox girl are me favorites atm. But I like most of the revealed characters, well more like the designs. Not a fan of the 2 short ones we saw. But it's a way better start characterwise for me personally, if I compare it to other games I play or want to try. (GI, HI3rd, HSR, Aether Gazzer, WuWa, ToF, ZZZ)
